Emily: Goth gf this and goth bf that… where were y’all when I was getting bullied in middle school??
Spencer: Also getting bullied in middle school.
Me: *sees people shipping spencer and emily*
There is hardly any ot4 fanfiction in ao3 at all. Cowards.
Getting into a new show/movie and shipping that couple that will never be canon like
Summary: Emily is trying to tell Spencer she’s in love with her, but maybe expressing her love via baked goods isn’t the most obvious method. Hey, they say the way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach!
A/N: I write a lot of Spencer pining, so I thought it was only fair to turn the tables this time. So here, have a pining Emily trying to win Spencer over by baking her lots of treats.
Sometimes it’s Emily who likes to tease.
Between me and nobody, this is my fav spemily’s handholding. Emily’s is so firm, so sure and encouraging like ‘hey, I’m here. I’ve got you’ and Spencer’s is just so soft. The way she gently and surely holds Emily’s hand back is just bhjdgfhj. I can’t explain the feelings but it’s in between of ‘I know’ and ‘thank you’ and ‘I’ve got you, too’.
Summary: A look at how two little words have changed over the years for Spencer and Emily.
A/N: This references canon moments but is AU/Canon divergent. I’ve been trying to write this forever, it’s inspired by this gifset where Skyler read my mind (she’s done that before) and picked up on a little pattern/moment I love between Spencer and Emily. I love them more than anything, always.
Spencer: You’re working with my sworn enemy?!
Emily: I can’t keep track of ALL your sworn enemies!
Thank you all for the support over this five years, I honestly didn’t expect this blog to get many followers, and I CERTAINLY didn’t think it was going to be able to keep going this long after PLL ended.
Thank y’all deeply and also WOW isn’t spemily the ship of dreams???
Seriously, is anyone still writing them?? I could really use some Spencer Hastings and Emily Fields in my life right about now..
A/N: A Spencer x Emily Christmas drabble using the prompt “twas the night before Christmas” from @illegalcerebral‘s list!
“Do I have to go to sleep?” Little MJ asked.
Spencer smiled sleepily, his eyes fighting the urge to just pass out on the couch. Late Christmas shopping was exhausting. “Don’t you want Santa to come?”
“Of course I do!” At seven years old, she thankfully still believed in Santa. “But I like hanging out with you and Mom, too.”
Emily was woken by her girlfriend grunting and mumbling in her sleep. Gently brushing hair away from Spencer’s face, she kisses her on the forehead, “It’s okay babe, I’m here, I’ve got you.” Spencer cuddles further into Emily’s side.
Every few weeks for the last four years that Emily and Spencer have lived together, Emily is woken by Spencer talking in her sleep, it’s something that she has always done, even going as far back as when they were still in school. Hanna always teased Spencer relentlessly if it happened during a sleepover but Emily always defended Spencer, even before they became a couple when they were seniors. It never bothered Emily though, she always thought it was adorable, especially when Spencer is incoherent in her ramblings as she is now.
Chuckling to herself Emily thinks back to the night after hours of adult fun and multiple orgasms, she was woken to Spencer running her hand across Emily’s bare stomach while muttering about how crows were trying to take over the world and were not to be trusted under any circumstances. Usually Emily just let Spencer ramble on in her sleep, but that night, curiosity got the better of her, and she asked Spencer questions which she obliged in answering. Emily was soon more informed of Spencer’s theory that crows were smarter than we think, they can understand speech, can communicate with other birds and that they are teaming up with bears to wipe out humanity.
After Spencer finished talking with Emily about her migraine, she went about her house frantically, packing up her purse, grabbing her keys, and some of her favorite tea bags that helped her when she was in pain. Truth be told, Spencer always worried about Emily. There was something different about her than the rest of the girls, and in some way, she felt as if the other girl needed to be protected. Spencer told herself, and prided herself on being protection for Emily. Once she was all packed up, she made her way out to her car, and drove the short drive to the Fields’ house.
When Spencer got there, Pam answered the door and let Spencer in, and thanked her for her concern about Emily, and told her that Emily was in her room, and to make herself comfortable up there until she woke up. The tall brunette made her way up the stairs to Emily’s room, and opened the door slowly and quietly. Emily was in her bed sound asleep. Spencer closed the door behind her gently, and sat at the foot of the other girl’s bed, and rested her hand on Emily’s and brushed her fingers over the top of it before pulling away. She watched the beautiful sleeping girl for a moment or two before pulling her phone out of her pocket and distracting herself with it while she waited for Emily to wake up.
