Now, a year ago I was in another fandom I am no longer in, and frankly, I don't want to return to it, so instead I'd love to share my first Far Cry 5 drabble I wrote, and it is Faith centric ✨

It's called "home is where the heart is" and is about Faith reminiscing about her past life and comparing it to the one she has now. It didn't get much recognition but I still love it.

film out; bts - honestly my second favorite bts JSP release after ‘dont leave me’ i think?? it just has the perfect Dramatic Anime Finale feel to it and i always love that.

top (japanese ver.); stray kids - SO GOOD holy shit. this song was enough to make me want to watch ‘tower of god’ on its own. while i haven’t actually done that yet...i’ve had this one on repeat for a good long while.

colors (eng cover); amalee - JIBUN WO (i miss code geass...and old anime tbh)

heaven on their minds; carl anderson - ey i rewatched Jesus Christ Superstar when it was up on youtube a few days ago and god i still love it. ‘gethsemane,’ ‘i dont know how to love him,’ and ‘superstar’ are all standout songs, but i honestly think this is the best one from it. also, carl anderson’s judas has yet to be outdone. 

ni***s in paris; jayz and kanye west - ....i rewatched ‘blades of glory’ and thought of this song after that one scene. great song tho!

blades of glory and its as GLORIOUS as i remember it to be. 11/10, best movie ever made.

Currently watching?

i’m on episode five of psycho pass! it’s been on my backburner for literal years and i finally got around to watching it now. and god, it’s amazing--exactly what i want from my anime now. i’m only five episodes in but i’m giving it a solid 9/10.

i’m also rewatching jojo’s bizarre adventure: golden wind. and of course, it’s Glorious.

Currently reading?

so my current fixation has been audiobooks, and while i have yet to listen to all of them, i’m currently ‘reading’ (and yes, it counts as reading in my book) six of crows by leigh bardugo. 

i’m also trying to get more into manga, especially psychological horror and romance serials. right now, i’m on chapter 7 of chi no wadachi/trail of blood. both are GREAT so far!!

“You and Oliver have a matching set of black eyes,” Kaden remarked. Three of his fingers rested gently along the lower part of her bruised cheek, tipping her face into the light. The pad of his thumb absently brushed the edge of her bottom lip. Her eyes widened, her jaw loosened, and something warm and insistent fluttered at her core.

Oh. Okay. She hadn’t expected that level of intensity from such a small gesture. Her sisters were definitely staring at her. She was far too attracted to him for the situation. When she spoke, she was relieved that her voice was steady and maintained a normal pitch. “Do I pull it off better than he does?”

He snorted a laugh and dropped his hand from her face. “You certainly do.”

I think more people should love these two like I do. (For those who don’t know, Oliver is Violet’s older brother.)

“If that was supposed to be reassuring, I need you to know that it wasn’t,” she replied.

She looked back at Damir where he had paused at the mouth of the hall, surveying the space with dismay. “Are you going to be okay?”

He slowly nodded. It was not particularly convincing.

“You only have to go—” She stopped as he entered the corridor, managing even steps despite his grimace. He seemed comically large, needing to twist his upper body just to fit between the walls and duck to keep from hitting his head. She skipped ahead of him until she found an empty compartment near the middle of the coach. “Here.”

FLUTTER

Larysa’s head tilted, her eyes narrowing. She opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by a flurry of colour appearing between them.

“Darling, what happened to you?” Vanya cried, one hand fluttering over her hair. “You look absolutely wretched. Excuse us, Miss Korzh, but my friend is in dire need of a hairbrush and some scrubbing.”

He forcefully looped their arms together and hauled her towards the elevators, moving fast enough that she almost had to jog to keep up.

“Are you okay?” he asked as soon as they were out of earshot of the patrons. 

“Thank you for interfering. I think she was about to figure out who I am.”

BLOOM

It looked like a page that had been ripped out of Damir’s investigation journal, and only had two short sentences scribbled on it. Radka snorted as she read:

You needed the sleep. See you at dinner. ‒ D 

She shook her head, unable to stop the affection blooming in her chest. It was something so small, fetching her breakfast and leaving a note, and yet she couldn’t control her smile. It was sweet—he was sweet under all of the layers of military training. Every glimpse of who he was underneath his years of conditioning delighted her in ways she didn’t entirely understand.

For that last snippet.... Damir let Radka sleep in after a Stressful Experience the night before but got her breakfast before he left.

She rolled her eyes. “Fine.”

Without further discussion, she sat next to Lina and crossed her arms. She didn’t know what Damir was intending to do but was willing to let him try his way, since her attempts clearly weren’t getting them anywhere.

“What’s your plan?” he asked.

“My plan?” The man laughed. “Why would I tell you anything about my plan?”

He inclined his head. There must have been something in his eyes as the man quickly sobered.

SUIT

Vanya—wearing a deep purple suit and the eyeshadow to match—bounded up the stairs to the booth. “It’s time for you two dears to head upstairs and get some rest.”

“Are we ruining your fun?” Radka asked, then made a face. Hopefully her genuine concern had come through despite her questionable phrasing. 

“Not at all; I love having you both here even if you’re too tired to truly enjoy the ambiance,” he replied.

SIZZLE

A shadow detached from the wall. Radka bit back a scream as the figure entered the small square of light allowed in by the window.

“Ephion’s tits, Svoboda!” she hissed, pressing a hand to her chest as though she could slow her thundering heartbeat. “Why the fuck were you hiding in the shadows like that?”

He shrugged, only moving his good shoulder. “Wasn’t sure you’d make it. Didn’t want to be found by the wrong person.”

“Why are you still here? I thought you were leaving.”

“Matron Volinska had other ideas.”

She took a closer look at him and everything he was carrying. He had two bags, one of which she recognized as hers, and a rifle slung over his shoulder. Her throat was suddenly dry. “Nice shooting.”

The snippet for ‘shoot’ is one of my favourite fun bits in the book. Also ‘suit’ is one of Vanya’s best looks, in my opinion.

“Fuck this.” She scrubbed at the black tattoo that had been revealed a few times just to make sure she wasn’t imagining things but it was unmistakable. The five pointed crown and sprigs of juniper of the royal crest, but with two crossed swords behind the crown. The crest of the Red Order, the elite special forces that had directly served the king. Around it was the outline of a shield with a pointed bottom and two scallop curves along the top.

“What?”

“He’s Red Order.”

“Seriously?” Milenko jumped to his feet and crossed the room in a few steps.

“No wonder he was fine after his fight in the cage; he’s probably one of the best trained fighters in the country.”
