despite the present and the future
Our flesh is malleable and we let our decisions tend that way
Squishy and fun to play with
Years of excess love makes us softAnd, some stressful days are worse than others
We feel worn out and less soft
A pulpy stretched out mess that doesn’t quite
Feel as flexible.But that’s the thing with the flesh after all these years.
Even when it doesn’t always feel quite right
on those long luscious days
