I'm adapting different milk drinks into non-dairy alternatives: a new series
So I try to limit my dairy intake because of the industry's effects on the environment and animal welfare. The only problem is that, as anyone who's obsessively drunk milk all their life knows, even the most realistic substitute is a far cry from the beauty of cow's milk. So, I've started collecting a bunch of littlespace "formula" recipes (which I collectively refer to as sweet milks) and tweaking them for oat milk (my preferred plant milk).
First up is the classic Angel Milk:
This is the ratio I use for whole milk. So I started out by with this recipe, then adjusted the ratio. I was worried that the vanilla would be too overpowering, so I added it by the quarter teaspoon instead.
