What the fuck was happening? It was officially July 3rd, day three of this memory loss and nothing, nothing was coming back. Not even bringing up the events like her father’s death---god, tears still came about at the thought of it. Had he left her in charge after his death? But why her? She wasn't capable of leading anyone. Hell she wouldn't even be able to lead an army of metal---well maybe no one could but that's beside the point. She just wasn't cut out for this. Especially not with ten years missing from her mind. Although, she wasn't alone in that... what really was happening.
A sharp gasp caught her attention and she looked up and realized eyes were on her. In her busy mind, she had pulled her hood back as she ran a hand through her hair, forgetting she needed to keep that hood on. Her eyes moved along the crowd until they settled on a finger pointed in her direction. A cop was speaking in his shoulder and looking at her. Shit.
Lorna took off despite hearing the cop yell at her to stop, freeze and eventually run after her. She turned around the corner and glanced back not seeing him follow but then bumped into someone, grabbing their shoulder and pushing them back into an alley as a cop ran by, speaking into his radio about apprehending the mutant, Polaris. She then looked to the stranger she had taken into the alley with her, her hood was pulled down as she recognized the face.
