More workflow tests. I’m not focusing on grouping shapes and making the backgrounds a bit more stylized. Going too rendered makes it fight for visual space, so I’m trying to do minimal blending and emphasize silhouettes for BGs.

Newest Umm App Post, this time about hiking! I used an old photograph of the woods my GF and I grew up exploring as the base for the background in this one. I kind of ended up getting carried away with all the details and different versions of this illustration

Office study background artwork: By Hero Central: 11/1/2021-12/1/2021:
First background art piece of 2021, I noticed this 3d render of an office study done my my former uni classmate Samie Howson, and I could see the potential for a background art piece. So with his permission I recreated it as a digital 2d background art piece. The artstyle is inspired by my love of lineless artwork styles and by the background art of the Carmen Sandiego Netflix tv series.
