Summary: You’re a regular to The Cavern and you’ve always loved watching The Beatles play, even if you do have to deal with sweaty crowds, screaming girls and pervy guys. One day under rather unfortunate circumstances, you finally get to meet them which eventually, and oddly, leads to them living with you.

Note: At Life Magazine, where words were subservient to pictures, Mr. Loengard extended that magic and became one of the magazine’s most influential photographers, following in the path of Alfred Eisenstaedt, Margaret Bourke-White and W. Eugene Smith.
Working almost exclusively in black and white, Mr. Loengard photographed stars like Judy Garland and Jayne Mansfield, and heads of state like President John F. Kennedy, walking in Frankfurt with German officials in 1963, and Queen Elizabeth II on a trip to Ethiopia in 1965.
He captured Louis Armstrong spreading balm over his chapped lips. He created a portrait of grief in Myrlie Evers’s comforting of her 9-year-old son, Darrell, at the funeral in 1963 of her husband, the civil rights leader Medgar Evers, who had been murdered. He caught the poet Allen Ginsberg nearly hidden by a veil of cigarette smoke, its wisps seeming to extend from his hair.

Em dezembro de 2007, Charles Möeller e Claudio Botelho foram convidados pelo SESC-RJ para apresentarem um musical de verão. A ideia era criar um espetáculo jovem, leve, com o clima da estação. Charles & Claudio decidiram focar na obra dos Beatles, ícone pop mundial. Nascia assim o fenômeno “Beatles num Céu de Diamantes”, um passeio musical pela obra do quarteto de Liverpool.‘
Beatles’ arrastou multidões ao Espaço SESC e tornou-se o sucesso do verão de 2008. O espetáculo foi apresentado também no Festival de Teatro de Curitiba 2008, e, desde então o musical vem encantando plateias Brasil afora e até em Lyon, na França, realizando diversas temporadas. Chegou a ser apresentado simultaneamente no Rio e em São Paulo!
O espetáculo ganhou o Prêmio Shell de Música para Delia Fisher e Jules Vandystadt, pelos arranjos (vocal e instrumental).

Mojo magazine called these ”the trilogy of truly essential post-Beatles solo albums”. Although they were done as a group, they still had tons of creative energy as individuals that proved successful and a worthwhile listen.
433. George Harrison, All Things Must Pass*** Co-produced by Phil Spector (and his Wall of Sound). The is my favorite of the 3. I have always had a soft spot for softy George. Released as a triple album in 1970, his first solo work after the break-up of the Beatles just months earlier. It includes the hit singles “My Sweet Lord” and “What Is Life”, as well as songs such as “Isn’t It a Pity” and the title track that were ideas he had with the Beatles that never made the cut.
418. Paul McCartney and Wings, Band On The Run*** The title track shows that Paul didn’t need the other Beatles to make layered 2 in 1 songs. It is reminiscent of “A Day In The Life” and the second half of ‘Abbey Road’. But that is the real only highlight in this album for me.
23. John Lennon, Plastic Ono Band*** Of the 3 albums, this is my least favorite as a whole but has my favorite song of the 3, “Look at Me”. This was also co-produced Phil Spector. Raw sound with songs influenced by Lennon’s primal scream therapy he was into at the time. This is the album where he famously says “I don’t believe in Beatles, I just believe in me.” Highlights: “God” and “Look at Me”.
