Allen Iverson Pleads Ben Simmons to ‘Follow Gods Plan’ to Return for 76ers
Amid the Philadelphia Sixers holdout, Allen Iverson is pleading for Ben Simmons to return and play for Philadelphia 76ers this season.
The NBA legend tweeted Saturday, “Follow Gods plan and execute Lil bro @bensimmons... #PhillyUnite #BestFansInTheWorld.”
As Sixers Wire noted it to give Simmons some encouragement, A.I. took to tweet to give young guard a message. He wanted him to stay focused while also giving a shutout to the Sixers fans who loved him so much.
Either Simmons listen to his advice will time tell just last week reports emerged that he returned to Philly and reportedly took a COVID-19 test and was not eligible to play preseason game on Friday night. It appears the holdout is winding down at least we hope that’s the plan for Doc Rivers.
Hey all! So I’m still pretty new here. Before this I wrote my fanfics on Wattpad but I’m wanting to try something new as well. I have a few ideas that I’m planning but let me know what you guys would like to know about as well. I will gladly answer questions about my DRs, any scenerios I’ve scripted (I havent shifted yet but I’ve gotten pretty close), or just any other stories that you want to see. I’m also wanting to start a series of character x reader fics based on different songs because thats where I get most of my inspiration from.
These are the main characters for the story I’m doing for Whumptober! Currently, I’m calling it “Guardians”.
Some exposition about the world:
This world is known as Atros, a planet where technology thrives, pushing civilization to new horizons. As long as history recalls, this planet has been plagued by eldritch creatures known as “Behemoths”. Behemoths take the form of mutated animals. They are nightmarish creatures that feed on all living things, and they are still being studied by scientists. Much is still unknown about these mysterious creatures. However, a terrorist organization known as “Anomaly” has turned to using these creatures as weapons.
The Order of Guardians:
The Order of Guardians was established to combat the Behemoth threat to humanity. The Guardians are superhumans who have undergone rigorous experimentation to become powerful enough to counter the Behemoths. Being a Guardian is seen as a privilege, and they are treated like celebrities. The Guardians’ experimentation has given them exponentially fast healing as well as heightened senses.
A terrorist organization with an unknown goal. They have taken to training Behemoths to use as weapons. However, the creatures cannot be tamed so easily, and they have lost many of their own comrades as a result of letting the beasts loose. Across the world, Anomaly has many underground scientific facilities where they capture, observe, and experiment on Behemoths.
Now, without further ado, characters are under the cut!
A Guardian with a love for candy and music. Very easy to approach, but lets very few close to her. Tends to act reckless in the field and is noted to have little-to-no regard for her own life. Often people can find her alone in the Guardian Tower, singing to herself in a melancholy tone. Became a Guardian as an alternative to going to prison after being framed for a crime.
Guardian Title: Songbird
Weapon(s): Modified kusarigama, gas canisters, dart gun
Became a Guardian to escape a life of homelessness. A softie with a big heart who is always willing to do what’s right and a friend to every alley cat. He’s very protective of his comrades and considers them his second family. Will be one of the first to stress the importance of self-care. Enjoys puzzles.
Guardian Title: Heart-Hunter
Weapon(s): Bladed boomerangs, wrist blade
Orphaned after a vicious sea Behemoth slaughtered her parents and left her shipwrecked on an island as a little girl, Ida became a Guardian for the sole purpose of hunting down the creature that haunts her nightmares to this day. She has a love for puzzles and iced coffee. In battle, she is very calm and collected, but merciless against her enemies, human or Behemoth.
Guardian Title: Oceanid
Weapon(s): Scythe, sword
Nali became a Guardian under pressure from their family. Though they dislike the job, they are very proficient in the art of slaying Behemoths. They’re slow to trust and a little timid, but stick by their side and they’ll be forever devoted to you. Their fashion sense is made up of mostly pastel goth wear. A quick way to their heart: sweets of any kind.
Guardian Title: Aurora
Weapon(s): Sword, spear, battle axe(All one single weapon that morphs between the three)
A guy with a good heart and a lot of daddy issues. Became a Guardian in an attempt to win over the approval of his father. Grew up in a conflicted household, with a loving and kind mother but a cold and distant father. He dislikes yelling, as it reminds him of his parents common arguments. A talented swimmer and guitarist. When not around the company of his parents, Ben is very laid-back and friendly. A nice guy to hang out with.
Guardian Title: Dryadis
Weapon(s): Bow and arrows
A well-respected girl who comes from a prestigious family. Became a Guardian because she thought of it as the highest honor. She is incredibly serious about her duties, but don’t let her no-nonsense attitude on the field fool you. She is a great cook and loves to share her recipes with others, and is always open to conversation. She can be found in the library of the Guardian Tower often, always scouring the shelves for something new to read.
Guardian Title: Tsukuyomi
Weapon(s): Dagger, throwing knives, naginata
There’s one more character, but I’ll save her for later...
you know, as much as i hate ben hope (and also becky allen) from solitaire and heartstopper i DO think they're extremely important characters and add much to the accuracy of those stories. i do not excuse any of their actions during the canon but i really think it's good that they're part of the story.
also i think they should have been the arson couple-
