Barchie || Different Eyes
This is my first video edit of Betty & Archie. I hope you like it, I ship them so much and I can’t wait for the new season!
I really want Hozier to cover Exile
I am a 1989 stan before anything else
Happy 6th birthday to the absolute pop perfection that is 1989! I can still remember exactly where I was when I saw the tracklist for the first time. I was in my cousin’s car in our high school parking lot (of all places 😂), waiting to go in because we got there early. I remember being so excited to hear it and it definitely did not disappoint! This album radiates such positive and fun vibes for me and is filled with bops and masterpieces. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully express how much I love this album. My holy trinity off of it is New Romantics, Wonderland, and HYGTG 💙💙💙💙💙💙
today’s song that’s stuck in my head “yea i showed up at your party will you have me will you love me”
First four tracks of 1989 by Taylor Swift
“Look What You Made Me Do” was the lead single off reputation, released on August 24th, 2017, is track 6 off the album, and was written by Taylor, Jack Antonoff, Richard and Fred Fairbrass, and Rob Manzoli.
It peaked at #1 (Tay’s 5th) and is certified 4x platinum.
Jack Antonoff talked about the process of writing it and he said that he and Taylor were messing around and came up with ideas together. They both agreed to make something that didn’t sound like what was going on at the time.
The MV has over 1.1 billion views and our good friend, Todrick, makes a cameo in it 🤩. I remember when I watched it for the very first time, in the very beginning of it, I was like “ahh what happened to Taylor?” (since she looked like a zombie), but then was relieved to see her look like her self again 😅. Nonetheless, the whole entire video is so badass and so cool, especially that ending. When I saw that final scene with the different Taylors for the first time, I was like NFW 😲. It’s definitely one of my favorite MVs she has ever put out.
LWYMMD has won 3 BMI Awards.
It has also been performed at the 2017 Jingle Ball in Inglewood, California, NYC, and was a regular on Rep tour (see video). In that video from rep tour, I made sure we got a good view of our girl, Karyn 😆
Also, as a way of 🛴 not making any money, an alternate version of LWYMMD was made and put in an episode of one of T’s favorite shows, Killing Eve. Although it’s never been officially confirmed, it is commonly believed that Austin sung that version.
I have the bridge on my wall as well as a picture of Karyn. She’s so iconic, I love her 🐍💚
Without a doubt, this song shook the world to its core and in my eyes, will represent the beginning of Taylor’s awesome comeback 💪🖤🖤
