The Owl House plot twist:
The Titan is Bill Cipher and wants that portal.
yeah, billdip where they constantly arguing with each other and dipper is fed up with bill’s bullshit is fun, BUT billdip with bill being fucked up because of his unexpected feelings towards paranoid disaster nerd is my favourite
I’d be really good at making a bill cipher ask blog with really bad art
This beautiful boi is a WIP. I'm super exited to see how this goes! I literally learned how to digital pain yesterday. I drew this-
to try it out! It's sooooo much easier than lineart!
Bipper, older!Mabel and another attempt at human!Bill because my last one looks too much like a sexyman to me
Bill Cipher loves all nondysphoric trans folks! He also wants you to buy gold!
Which one are you?
(the Bill design belongs to @tamaytka I think
if i had a nickel for every time i liked a purely evil villain character who manipulates a character who is a minor who carries around a handwritten book full of secrets thats incredibly important to him that had something to do with dreams, id have 2 nickels. which isnt a lot but its weird it happened twice.

Ok. I need to talk about gravity falls right now. (I know it’s common knowledge at this point but nobody will talk to me about it so. Yeah.)
Bill cipher is evil.
There is nothing redeemable about him.
Lets make a list of (some) bad things he’s done
-love bomb and manipulate his partner Stanford (while I personally think it was a romantic relationship that’s up for interpretation, my only argument is I would never call a friend “my muse”)
-traumatize Stanford so much to the point where he loses sleep and becomes scared of making public appearances
-traumatize mcgucket to the point where his mental state is so poor he isn’t eligible for proper jobs and essentially ruins his life. (You could argue it’s Stanford’s fault for bringing mcgucket to gravity falls but bill is directly responsible for what he saw in the portal)
-planed on paralyzing dipper after possessing his body (without his consent)
And yet despite all of this (there’s more I could make a longer list) BILL IS A FAN FAVORITE
we still like bill despite everything he’s done.
And the reason for that is because he’s incredibly charming.
I don’t mean that in a weird fan girl way I just mean that Bill is a fresh take on the classic Disney villain trope.
Disney villain trope things include:
-A surplus of personality.
-Lastly and most importantly despite being the villain has fun, and as a result the audience has fun with them.
Like I said,
Bill is easily a classic Disney villain trope except his case is special because his charm calls out the audience directly.
Let me explain, the theme of gravity falls and the downfall of each character is ego. (I feel like I don’t have to explain it but if you want me to I definitely will)
Gravity falls is somewhat of a Cautionary tale. Just because somebody is charming doesn’t mean they’re cool.
It shows the viewer how con men work, how they use their charm to scam people.
It’s a story about how 1 con man almost ruined a family, and destroyed the world.
In the book, Ford had several opportunities to look at the red flags but didn’t because he was wrapped around bill’s finger.
And we do the same
the veiwers are selfish and egotistical too because we choose to turn a blind eye and make cute fan fictions, marketable plushies, and fan work.
We choose bills charm over morality (for us it’s purely hypothetical, but still)
And that’s why I love this show so much. I mean how often is it that a character turns to you? That a character turns to The viewer specifically, and calls you out? (I know stories are supposed to teach lessons but the way it connects to our pop culture is *chef kiss*)
DISCLAIMER: Of course bill is a fictional character and if you make fanart of him or something I am in no way shaming you, in fact it would be hypocritical because I was making a Garfield x gravityfalls doodle before I made this post. Lol.
My fall plans: The Delta Variant:
the best crossover ever
Update - September 18. 2021
Overall synopsis (for anyone who is newly interested):
A Gravity Falls AU idea where, in 1982, Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill’s dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill’s ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Thirty years later, the demon is still punishing them for their refusal to rebuild the portal.
Ford makes a small gesture of goodwill to the upstairs world, he and Stan discover what might be another instance of Bill's meddling, the upstairs world prepares for Mabel's party, and some not completely unexpected guests show up.
~Warnings: vague mention of suicidal ideation. ~Sorry for delays on getting this chapter out. Had some rough health and mental health times -__- But also had a few moments of closure after everything that happened in 2019 and all that led up to it. ~Thanks to @geekyartemis for the suggestion of Ford making origami decorations ~And thank you to everyone who interacts with/comments on this! You inspire so much of it both through what you mention in comments and through motivation to keep going. Ideas often come from strange or unexpected places for me so even the smallest comment can spark something and I always appreciate it more than I can say so THANK YOU and BIG HUGS! Also huge thank you to everyone who has offered support, opinions, insight, and thoughts along the way. I was just rereading some of the answers to questions I'd asked in the past and appreciating them all over again! Much love to you all! ~Also, I read somewhere that it's good to mention if fan works of a fan work are okay and I'd never thought about mentioning it before but, yes! They're definitely more than okay!

mabel is doing something stupid and bill said ">:/ 💛"
ah yes, my favorite but extremely obscure and specific character trope:
the character who breaks through a wall, creating a conveniently them-shaped hole
even though there was a door (or another hole exactly like it) right next to where they broke through said wall
