MUSIC VIDEO: VENUS FLY TRAP
Last week, Marina dropped the explosive music video for her third single “Venus Fly Trap”, directed one more time by Weird Life Films, from her freshly released fifth studio record: Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land.
Mercedes Natalia was in charge again of the styling behind the music video, alongside OLIMA as the custom wardrobe designer. Her hair stylist this time was also Rena Calhoun, using Virtue Labsproducts, and her makeup artist was Anthony H. Nguyen, who also used KVD Beauty products.
Marina opens the music video with this incredible custom OLIMA Mod-inspired baby blue & white color-block shift dress with pocket details and heart-shaped buttons which, according to her stylist, are a nod to Electra Heart!
Confirmed by her stylist, Marina also wore the Zara Glass Collection clear injection-molded glass dome ring ($17.90) and small hoop earrings ($17.90), which are also available in different colors.

Completing the first look, Marina dances in the Stuart Weitzman Anicia white patent leather tonal pumps ($425.00), which feature a mid cylindrical block heel and their signature double-buckle hardware on vamp, from the brand’s “Belle Infinity” capsule collection. Unfortunately, they’re no longer available online.
For her second look, Marina wore this beautiful custom OLIMA vintage-inspired yellow lace coat with faux fur trim, that she layered with a “Purge The Poison” lyrics white t-shirt, customized by her stylist, Mercedes Natalia. Also, after some research and talks with her team, I was told that Marina wore some Levi’s denim for this scene! By the looks of it, it seems like she's rocking the brand’s Mile High super skinny high-waisted jeans in "Black Ground" ($98.00)

According to a photo Marina’s stylist posted from the music video’s shoe wardrobe, for this scene Marina rocks the Manolo Blahnik Tora pistachio green suede/leather pointed toe mid-heel pumps ($706.00)

I haven’t been able to identify much from her third look yet, but as you can see Marina is wearing her FRAME Le Original distressed high-rise straight-leg jeans ($235.00) in “Clash” light-blue denim.

The singer also wears the Superga 2750-COTSTUDS1W white cotton studded sneakers ($109.00), which are also available in black & gold.

For the final scene, Marina wore this killer OLIMA custom designed sleeveless body-hugging faux leather bodysuit with collar, zip-down front, lacing detailing on the sides and matching belted faux leather pants. She accessorized the look with a pair of 90s rimless mid-square sunglasses, which you can find in most eyewear online stores.
Completing her very last look, Marina rocked the Public Desire Intention black faux leather chunky sole ankle boots ($52.99) which also feature a removable belted pouch.
