A pretty successful art weekend.
This is how I cope with depression, and always forget just how well spending time indulging my love of David Bowie really works. I also usually get some cracking good art out of it lol.
The Halloween jack piece was a redo from the previously posted WIP bc I tried to power through it in one night on no sleep and a whole week of poor sleep and high stress leading up to it. I like this one better already. The Tommy Newton one needs a background still.
Unintentional when I took the picture, but I also really like how they’re facing the medium I drew them in. Halloween Jack in Copic markers, Thomas in colored pencil. I also like how each is lit by a different lamp on my desk (I have a True Color lamp on Halloween Jack and a regular incandescent desk lamp on Thomas)

Religious folks, unless they’re the most devout à la Westboro, stop belittling you and start promoting you when you show them you’re far more powerful than religion. Obtaining power is what it’s all about.
