Harry: Cedric was my bi-awakening
Bill: So I mean nothing to you?
I just rewatched the movie and I realized something- I’ve seen it several times, but the one thing that still makes me cry, isn’t Cedric’s death itself, it’s the heartbreak of his father the moment he finds out. It’s the unbelieving, heartbroken sound of his voice once he realises, his son didnt win, he died and he will never see him again. That absolutely brakes me.
“Ginny, where did you learn how to fight like that?”
“I have six older brothers.”
“Yeah. Bill has long hair and wears jewelry, Charlie is a recluse with dozens of animals, Percy is a huge nerd, Fred and George have a reputation of being bad kids, Ron has a huge inferiority complex, and I wasn’t going to let anyone give them shit for any of that. So, I had to learn how to beat up people bigger than me pretty early on.”
Cedric Diggory :)
Warnings: Fluffy, some sadness, some angst.
Summary: Reader x Cedric Diggory
Sorry the ending is kinda rushed
It was your fifth year when the Hufflepuff boy first noticed you. The pretty boy in the year above you.
As a fifth-year Gryffindor, you barely saw him. You knew you were pretty, and you hoped he did too.
It was on the Hogwarts Express when you bumped into him. But the train started to grow cold. He grabbed your hand and pulled you into an empty cabin.
“Wh-what is that?” You ask, looking into his grey eyes.
“Dementors.” He said, as he gave you chocolate. “Learned about them last year.”
“Oh okay, thanks.” You blushed as he touched your finger.
As his eyes met yours, you felt this strange feeling curdling in your stomach. Something you had never felt before. As you stared into his eyes, your brain started to feel like it was melting.
“Oh, I’m Y/N by the way. Y/N Nott.” You say.
“Cedric Diggory.” The boy said, smiling.
“I am so sorry about my brother two years below me. I’m not like him! I swear!” You blush and rant.
The boy smiles and chuckles his cute little laugh. “No problem.” He says, brushing his hair out of his eyes. “I can tell.” He smiles at you. You blush, and you can tell he sees.
The two of you sit next to each other for the rest of the train ride, you on the outside. When the train moves to the side, you sometimes find yourself on his lap, but you immediately get off, blushing.
As term starts, you guys are occasionally throwing each other playful smiles and blushes, but that soon turns into sweet pushes and broom closet snogging.
In your sixth year, you two are together, and it is right after he gets into the triwizard tournament.
You are in a broom closet, having some alone time.
“Cedric?” You ask, looking up at him.
“Yes, my princess?” He smiles.
“If anything happens to you in the tournament, I just wanna say…” you take a deep breath. “I love you. And I always will.”
“Ellen…” he whispers. “You know I have always wanted you. I have always loved you.”
The Hufflepuff boy softly kisses you and dips you. You find yourself leaning in, and you realize that you really do love him. More than anything.
The first task went well. Very well.
About a week after the task you sneak into the prefects bathroom to take a bath because you have always heard about the wonderful prefects baths.
But someone beat you to it. Cedric was there.
“Y/N?” He says, looking into your eyes with his grey ones. “What are you doing here?” He asks.
“I- um I was just going to- um take-take a bath, but, but now I can’t so….” you were going Marinette Dupain-Chang on him.
“No, no it’s fine, love. I was just working on something.” You watch him dive under the water with his golden egg, and you see him open it. “Got it.” He says, smiling up at you. You blush profusely. You love his smile, and everything about him.
You turn to leave.
“Wait, don’t go. Stay.” Cedric says.
“But I-” The next thing you know, a strong arm is pulling you into the water. Your wet robes make you heavy as you sit in the warm bath.
“Cedric.” You say, but he puts a finger to your lips. “I can’t do this.” The sweet boy looks at you with those nice grey eyes. “We’ve only known each other for two years.” Tears start to fill your eyes.
“Don’t cry, love.” He says, sympathetically, and he wipes your tears away. “How many boys have you dated before me?” He asks, looking at you wide-eyed.
“None.” You say, looking down. “None of them would have been right for me. I was asked out twice, by Fred Weasley, and Harry Potter. I didn’t go. I didn’t like either of them. You are the only one right for me.” You say, looking up at him. Cedric kisses you with passion, and you kiss back.
“Cedric, I can’t be here, I’m not a prefect.” You say.
“You’re not, but you certainly are perfect.” He smiles.
You blush, get out of the bath, and wring out your clothes. You grab a towel to dry yourself, only for Cedric to use a charm to dry you off. “Thank you.” You say, looking at him.
“No problem.” The boy says, smiling at you.
When you heard about the Yule Ball, you knew you were going with Cedric. You knew it 100%. When he asked you, you were not surprised. You said yes, of course.
You were getting ready in your dorm alone. You dressed in a Gryffindor red dress, and did your sand-colored hair in beach waves.
((Note from Sydney: Sorry if you don’t look like this. I’m a simpleton so I’m just basing this character off of me. *runs and hides*))
When you get to the Ball, Cedric looks at you with wide eyes.
“You look beautiful.” He says shyly. “But then again, when do you not?” You blush.
“And you look amazing as always.” You say, blushing. You told him you loved him, but you never really told him he looked good. Well, even though he does. He blush as well. That modesty. You think.
The dancing starts, and the two of you dance the night away.
When the dancing ends, you two go hide.
“Y/N.” He mutters your name. You saw him drink Firewhiskey earlier in the night. You knew he never drank, so this was probably hard for him. “I love you.” He says, kissing you.
“I love you too.” You say, breaking the kiss. “But the Firewhiskey was too much for you. You need to get to bed!” You lead him down the corridor, and towards the Hufflepuff common room. You tap ‘hel-ga-huff-le-puff’ on the barrels, and when you arrive, Hannah Abbot asks what you are doing here.
“Cedric’s drunk,” you say. “For the first time in his life. I’m taking him to bed.” Hannah nods and lets you pass.
You open the door to his room and push him on to the bed so he can rest. You turn on your heel to go, but a strong arm pulls you. Deja Vu. You think, as you feel yourself getting pulled like a new kitten by five year old. Forcefully.
“Cedric.” You say. “Cedric no. You’re drunk, I can’t.”
You didn’t want to do it. Not at all. You knew he would forget it but… you punch his pretty face. You run out of the room and don’t stop until you get to Gryffindor Tower, out of breath.
“What’d you do?” George Weasley asks as you slam the door behind you, sweating.
“I did nothing.” You reply. “He got drunk. No details needed.” You say as you rush up to the girls dormitory, leaving George shocked.
When you go to bed, you can’t stop thinking about Cedric. You’re worried for him. You want him to be okay for the second task.
Speaking of the second task, a few days later, Professor Mgonigal ((Can’t spell!!!!)) calls you into her office along with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, Potter’s best friends. The next thing you know, Cedric is pulling you out of the black lake.
It’s the night before the third task. You shake in your shoes as you watch Cedric enter the maze.
You wait for hours, tapping your foot on the ground, waiting for Cedric to come out. He does. Dragged by Harry Potter. His empty grey eyes shining in the dark. You cry silently.
You slip away from the crowd and head to your dormitory. You knew one person who could cheer you up, but he wasn’t here. He was gone.
In your fifth year, you join the D.A. because you believe in Harry, but you are still upset.
You end up graduating from Hogwarts with Ron Weasley, and he gave you anything you needed to make you feel better, and you like it.
Doodles ft. The first real actual mouth kiss I've drawn in literally a decade
(Let the words of this song be here)
That is just so typically me
Oh baby, baby
Oops!..I did it again
I played with your heart,
got lost in the game
Oh baby, baby
Oops!...You think I"m in love
That l"m sent from above
I"m not that innocent
This is the dumbest thing I've ever drawn don't look at me
Ayuda xfabor
wow they specifically left cedric’s cell active 😢
ceddy was pretty chill about dragging luka home the previous night and the two ended up hanging out for a bit
ceddy also got high for the first time.. which personally i found hilarious, phoenix not so much. it wasn't luka's idea.. but they argued about it anyway
