*God’s Plans For You*

In a world of eight billion people, it’s easy to feel small and insignificant. You might feel like you don’t matter and God does not even think about you.
Oh, He does. A lot, in fact.
_“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!” (Psalm 139:17)._
And look at the thoughts He thinks concerning you:
_“For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”_
Let’s look at another version:
_"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11)._
And here’s the amazing thing about God’s plans.
_“The plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations” (Psalm 33:11)._
You are on God’s mind and He has incredible thoughts and plans towards you. All He needs is your buy-in.

Do you ever NOT want God? I woke up feeling that way. For the past year, maybe, I’ve woken up feeling that way. I’ve tried my best to exercise pious sounding prayers, and yet today I could only lazily write, “help me.”
And He did. Surprised? I was, though I shouldn’t be. I know prayer doesn’t have to be an artsy craft that I have to be “good” at for Him to respond. He wants to give, more than we want to receive. He loves me and you, more than we could ever love Him.
Be encouraged to ask Him anything within His will. The Lord is faithful💛

*One Thing Have I Desired*
🌱📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈🌳
What’s your utmost desire? What’s the one thing you really want? I’m sure you’re racking your brains trying to find out.
David must have done the same. And this is was his answer.
_“One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple” (Psalm 27:4)._
Think about the first two words of that verse: one thing. The one thing. The most important and crucial thing. The thing that’s above all others.
The one thing you desire speaks of your ultimate hope in life. It’s a clear indication of what you want most. For David, it was all about the Lord. Train your appetite to desire the Lord.
The MSG translation of the verse adds more bite:
_“I’m asking God for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long._
_I’ll contemplate his beauty; I’ll study at his feet._
_Why not make this your one desire? Desire Jesus above all else!_

0I read something in the bible about being envy and how it control us. I realize that one the reason why we are unhappy is because sometimes, we keep comparing ourselves to other people, trying to live in other people’s blessings and path. Reason why we tend to neglect our own blessings because we are looking at theirs.

_“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58)._
Ray Boltz’s “Thank You” tells the story of a man’s encounter in heaven with some of the souls he had unconsciously touched while on earth. It resonates with the scripture above, reminding us that nothing we do for the Lord is in vain.
Not all our acts will instantly result in rewards. Just like seeds, some might germinate overnight, others could take a very long time to sprout as well. The issue isn’t with the time actually. All we need to know is that everything we do should be unto the Lord. The Lord indeed will recompense. We shouldn’t worry or fret when men seemingly don’t value or cherish what we do.
Everything should stem from love. God isn’t blind and He will reward all your works. Nothing you do or give to the Lord will be in vain. A soul somewhere has been touched because of your prayers and efforts. Keep up with the good work in the Lord.
_“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10)._
