A very one-sided conversation so early in the morning.
And no pudding or ham sandwiches :(
Process collage of my Urza, Lord High Artificer Alter sleeve! I always sketch and ink my art traditionally and then color it digitally.
So is there any plan?
I only now found out that Mason might’ve been there, you expect me to come up with a plan instantaneously?
Well I don’t have one.
rad dog! I was hoping for a meme
Is it soft?

Hello everyone! Thank you for reading Lady Lioness.
I had a lot of fun making this page. It hasn’t been common in this story to draw Pallas showing intense emotions, and it’s been good to draw more than expressions of fear and sadness.
In these pages I wanted to reflect a trait of Pallas that, although it has been there since the first conceptions of her, I have been modeling to adapt it more to her way of being, as she has grown and evolved while writing her story: Her Pride as Noble.
I knew which way I wanted to take this trait when I read Stephen Zweig’s biography of Marie Antoinette a few years ago. In it it was manifested several times how the last queen of France, despite being, in essence, a generous, gentle and somewhat naive woman -it was enough for any nobleman to come up with some sad story about bad finances or insults for her to help them in any way, which more than one took advantage of- to display an unshakable majestic pride. A blind faith for what she believed, as royalty, she was made of a different paste than the rest of the people and that therefore, she should be respected just because she was born a princess and insulting her was insulting God. The most famous event related to this pride is undoubtedly her silent dispute with King Louis XV’s lover, Madame du Barry, to whom she refused to speak for a long time to the point of almost causing an international conflict.
Antoinette carried this pride as a banner until her last moments on the scaffold, still stripped of all her privileges and dignity, still firmly believing that she was above all those people who were going to admire her death. And yet she did not express this pride as contempt, but reflected it in her way of treating people who vilified her, so that her guardians, in her last days as a prisoner, waiting to meet the tyrannical and frivolous queen who had taught them to hate, they were surprised to find a kind and courteous lady, for whom they came to feel pity and compassion.
I wanted Pallas to also have this trait, although more adapted to her way of being, more malleable, since Pallas is not royalty, and because her character is much less stubborn and frivolous. It was always clear to me that she would be raised in her environment with a vocation for service: Under the concept of the noblesse oblige, they would teach her that all her privileges and blessings should be used to care for those who were below her. Her own father would tell her that she owes more to the villagers of her lands than to the king himself.
Although her bubble would often make her forget this precept, which is why she enjoyed worldly whims and idle life, Pallas should always internalize it. Even so, on the part of her grandmother, who was her mother figure, and who possessed a great sense of pride, she instilled in her granddaughter this sense of honor applied to her lineage, and in Pallas ended up becoming more of a instrument of self-defense than a true belief.
And it’s as self-defense that Pallas uses her Pride as a Noble in these pages. A way to convince herself that she deserves more than what the world now offers to her. A sense of pride so fragile, that it appears in bursts of rage, and that dissolves quickly, when her own complacent personality takes the reins again.
This won’t be the last time we’ll see Pallas manifest these emotions; It’s precisely around this pride that many key moments in the story will pivot.
The key to all of this is that there will come a time when her pride will shift from being driven by her position in the nobility, to appear representing her own worth as a person.
[spoilers for a garbage Chinese comic] “Who is the prey
So basically she was originally pregnant with yuan ze’s child.Fu shen xing finds out and forces her to have an abortion (I think he threatens her by saying he will kill yuan ze or something). After that he yan contemplates killing herself and doesnt because she still wants to get revenge and go back to yuan ze.She gambles her life and almost dies just to get a phone call with yuan ze,since originally fu shen xing didnt want to let her contact him but since he genuinely ‘fell in love’ with her he agrees as he cant bear seeing her harm herself.Fu shen xing forces to have sex with her since she cant refuse since he will have sex with her anyway and makes a hole in the condoms to get her pregnant. Then she ends up pregnant with fu shen xings child she cant abort or get rid of the child because of the strict security and since it may kill her.The ending was she was originally going to be forced to marry fu shen xing but because she found proof with the help of another guy, forgot the name, and yuan ze fu shen xing dies by suicide and she raises the child with yuan ze.
BTW in the middle of the story they did escape for like half a year away from fu shen xing but he finds them because he was going to be in a business marriage with a rich girl, who was he yans friend but he didnt know and she didnt know he was bad,and finds out when she calls he yan.He gets one of yuan ze’s fingers chopped off, confined he yan and gets officer chengs daughter pregnant who dies by a car accident. He also sends a letter at the end of the novel about how he knows he cant be forgiven and how horrible he was but he yan just rips it up and throws it in the in the bin.
Overall he turns psychotic because he isnt the original fu shen xing hes someone else who took the boys place and was originally a death sentence prisoner but swapped places with him honestly I dont know how he swapped places. His excuse was because he never received love when he was young he wanted to live with he yan,who he loved but she didnt love him, forcefully to teach him love but she rejected because she loved yuan ze.Honestly, yuan ze is the best guy he was with her throughout this entire situation even when he lost a finger he never complained and his love never got weaker even when he saw his wife rapped by fu shen xing in front of him and when he was beaten. There was a bit where he had to try resisting and remembering he yan when given pills that made you forget your memories and he stayed in Spain to get evidence and ended up back with he yan.Without him he yan would have died.Honestly, the ending was good but fu shen xings death was too easy he just kills himself when stuff went to shit with the excuse of how 'she didnt love him.'It just felt like he was avoiding punishment and acknowledgment that he was wrong so he just ended his life.Ontop of that he contradicted his words sooooo much.Like he says hes not with other girl but gets officer chengs daughter pregnant and says he wont threaten anyone but does that like five seconds later and says he wont force he yan but does it anyway.
If I find the original translated novel I will post it here. The best thing about the story is he yan is SANE.she ain’t like other girl who fall in love or forgive and forget she powers through with all her might and ends him, literally.

This was the first comic I’ve ever done! I think I’ll do one for Duck Tales next, it was super fun and I just love these two. And after seeing ‘the Cooler’ episode I needed to do something with Marcie’s reaction.
Ashley got turned down real quick.
Souls of Magic
The instruction to embark was rather sudden, is everything alright? Should I inform emergency services?
No no no! No cops or such! It’s a family thing
Ah, should I inform Ashley then?
No! We’re already on our way, and we’re not turning around to pick her up!
