For some reason I can’t stop thinking about the foxes playing Just Dance. Like, the original versions.
Allison bought a Wii and kept it in her room.
At first they played like normal people. The rest of the foxes were invited to join in and it was just for laughs.
Suddenly it becomes a competition.
They have to take the Wii out of the dorms because they’re being too loud and the poor RA can’t take it anymore. Every time they would gather to play Andrew is on door duty to ‘convince’ the RA to leave them alone.
The Wii is moved to the lounge, which is much better because there’s a lot more room there in the first place. The competitions continue. Every new release that comes out is purchased and the foxes fight for the songs they want.
Before playing, everyone needs to be reminded to tighten the straps to their wrists, because once Matt accidentally sent a remote flying towards the window and it’s a miracle it didn’t break.
After the 4th version comes out, the only song Kevin is interested in playing is ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’. He holds the high score - of which he keeps beating every time he plays - and nobody can even come close to beating it.
Neil hates ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ but only because the dog-person that does the dancing is terrifying
Renee is insane at all of them, but she’s especially good at ‘Womanizer’.
‘Girl’s Just Wanna Have Fun’ is required every time. The dance moves are simple but for some reason the foxes keep trying to one-up each other and add their own, which only brings their scores down.
Aaron thinks he’s amazing at ‘Satisfaction’.
Andrew doesn’t start playing until he notices that Aaron is starting to take some of the high scores. He can’t let that happen, so he joins in. At first he’s terrible but then he slowly starts working his way up the leaderboards. Watching the twins compete while dancing to songs like ‘Hot & Cold’ and ‘Tik Tok’ is simultaneously captivating and terrifying.
TOXIC. It’s a shit show every time, because everyone wants to play it and won’t accept defeat. Allison currently holds the highest score for that song, followed closely by Kevin.
Neil discovers that he can get just as high of scores by waving the remote around as he would trying to dance and will never let Kevin forget that he beat him using that tactic multiple times.
The foxes record each other all the time but the greatest video is the one of Neil and Andrew dancing to ‘When I Grow Up’. Dan has the high score for that song and will fight anyone that tries to take it from her.
Rasputin is a nightmare every time because everyone is trying to do the weird jumps and keeps crashing into each other.
Renee and Andrew claim ‘Umbrella’ as their song. Nobody else dares to try it. Only once did Andrew win the high score and it was quickly taken away in a rematch. Neil tells him to try just waving the remote around next time.
