🍂✨Mari Lyd is coming✨🍂 The Mari Lwyd is a folk custom found in South Wales, maybe one survival of a pre-Christian tradition.

Like a warm blanket was being wrapped around her.
December has already begun and the cold it has brought has me troubled. Cozy Chrys really gave me an escape and I left writing midway to go touch the grass. Though I haven't found any grass I have come back to my own self and my emotions are more comprehensible now. I don't know what to expect from December but I know for sure that December will pass by very quickly. I am hoping to get back to studies and start a new writing project. New Year is approaching I need to plan it out in the coming days.
I hope the rest November has offered rejuvenates me and powers me through December.
Stay strong, Survive!
picture I took the other day while on my walk, didn’t really expect it to look like a Magritte painting though.

i cannot believe 2022 is in a month. this year FLEW by like no other and i keep thinking about how the older i get the faster time flies. an hour used to feel like eternity when i was younger now an hour is close to no time. maybe its because the older i get the more things i want and have to do and the more it feels like my times running out. i have no idea if that made anyy sense and its not fun having an existential crisis in the middle of the day so ill stop typing. hope yall are having a great week!!

A familiar face! I drew this little dragon for a test post on my Instagram last month, but I’ve refreshed it a bit! originally the left side was cropped, and there was some writing to the right, but I added the left side past the old crop, deleted the type, and changed the background around! It was a little tricky making sure the lines and shading lined up with the old parts, but I think it worked out! Throughout my life of learning art and drawing, digital art had never been my strong suit, but I’m really proud of the growth I’ve had in this medium ^^ (I posted this super late, my bad y’all)
[ID: Digital Illustration of a dragon bust on a green and off white background. The dragon faces 3/4 right, its mouth open and six off white lines radiating out from its mouth and snout, alluding to sound. The dragon is a rust red with a darker snout, cow-like ears, and a grey mane. It also has spiky scales on its cheek, mammal-like molars, and two small horns going straight back with small spikes coming up from the beginning and top of them. The scales by the base of the horns are also dark like the snout. The dragon glances up with yellow eyes, only one of them visible. It also has yellow highlights over its body. The dragon sits on a textured off-white background with that fades into a textured green background, left to right. The green background is lined at the edges with the off-white. Around the shape of the dragon is a white outline that is fuzzy at the edges. In the bottom left corner, a watermark logo reads “LEAVES AND INKS”, in stacked text.
Image 2: Crop showcasing the dragon’s face and details in the skin. The crop reaches to the edges of the snout, and only the beginnings of the bottom three lines extending in front of it are in frame. It crops at the beginnings of the horns on both the top and left side. On the bottom, only the base of the neck is in frame. The only visible background on the right hand side is green.
Image 3: Crop showing the ear and right, frontmost horn. The left horn is out of frame, and the tips of the mane at the top and left sides are out of frame. The furthest most point of the eye is visible and the tips of the spiky scales on the cheek are slightly out of frame. The only visible background is on the left hand side, and is off white.
Image 4: Crop showcasing the edge of the mane and fur details. On the right, the highlights are just beginning, while on the left, deep shadows are in the crevices of the fur. The bottom left edge is in frame, and the fade between the off-white and green background is at the bottom of the frame./end ID]
