life is horrible and a gentle death seems great just about now
dying in a forest and letting your corpse be civered in moss seems so nice tho
Woe, destruction, ruin, and decay; the worst is death and death will have his day.

Trolldom Teku Maku Maya Kon - porcelain, 2017-18, by Katsuyo Aoki
This stunning ceramic piece at the Toledo Museum of Art is about 11 feet high and 7 feet wide. Japanese artist Katsuyo Aoki is known for her ceramic sculptures that apply delicate, swirling forms to dark subject matter. Frequently used motifs include skulls, crowns, and dismembered parts of animals which she says “express the sacred and vulgar atmosphere of the present age.” This piece seems to imitate the azulejo tiles and Manueline architecture found throughout Portugal.
