ok so imagine... trans person committing a crime and on tv they use their dead name and light tries to kill them and it doesn't work

You know what would be great? An au/crossover where for some reason the BAU from Criminal Minds was called in to help L (and weren't killed by Light somehow because while I haven't watched that show in a while, I couldn't stand if the team got killed). They quickly deduce that Light is Kira...but they can't figure out how he's doing it or how to prove it, so they're stuck there for a while.

While the rest of the Taskforce is chasing down other leads, they're focused on Light, and by extension, his relationships. Being the profilers they are, they can't help but notice that L and Light really seem to want to fuck each other and that half of Kira's messages/actions seem to be about flirting toying with L...

They've had criminals become obsessed with detectives before. They've been on the receiving end of it themselves. But they've never seen a detective fully reciprocate the obsession with such a clear romantic/sexual agenda.

Hotch: You know, Ryuzaki, I've had cases where the unsub has developed an obsession with me, too. It's hard to keep it from being personal, but what I found is that letting them in will destroy you.

L: I see...I am sorry your relationships were so unfulfilling.

Before he got the Death Note :

• Personally I have a love / hate relationship with this man , mainly because he canonly has a major god complex. I will try not to touch on it a lot in this post.

• Okay first off , this may make a lot of people mad but I feel like the only way Light would even be Yandere for you , is if he knew you before he got the Death Note.

• Maybe he had a little school boy crush on you , and would probably leave you candy and sweets in your locker. You thought it was sweet that you had a little admirer, but little did you know that this little crush Light had on you , was turning into his obsession.

After he got the Death Note :

• Once Kira started to get more public attention , Light really wanted to know what you thought of Kira. He might randomly ask you to be his partner for a project to give you a reason to stop by his house. Once you get into his room everything will be normal before he ask you what you thought of Kira.

• If you say that you think what Kira is saying is wrong , then Light would get oddly defensive and start to give you reasons as to why Kira is saving the world and how all the people Kira has killed , was for a reason. You may be weirded out by this and want to go home , but you really need this project grade or you will fail without Light’s help. So you pull through the project. At school you will try your best to ignore him.

• On the other hand if you say that what you think Kira is doing is noble then most likely Light will show you the Death Note and tell you that he is Kira. He will make you swear on your grave that you will not tell a soul. Once he tells you that he is Kira , his obsession with you will grow now that you are carrying his little secret with you.

• Light will probably keep you a secret from Misa mainly because he doesn’t want her going off and doing something stupid to you.

•Speaking off Misa she may love or hate you. If you are very kind to her and give her compliments and praise her she will act civil towards you , just… please don’t kiss Light in front of her or she might do something crazy .. okay?

• As I have said at the start , Light has a major god complex and he doesn’t even try to hide that from you. You should be grateful that he even looks in your direction. He is higher than life , he corrupts nature with his Death Note. Don’t you know that he could end you in seconds if he truly wanted to??

• Out if all the Yanderes in Death Note , Light is probably the only who will kidnap you even without being provoked by a situation.

• He will probably scare off all your friends to make you dependent on him as your only friend. He will say things like “ They don’t deserve you and your kindness “. Or he will tell you sick lies about them just so you start avoiding them. In the end you will only have him to turn to and him only.

• I think I forgot to mention how unbelievably smart Light actually is. Once you are kidnapped he will use his connections to cover your disappearance up and kill anyone who gets to close to finding out the truth.

• Overall in Lights eyes he is a god and you are his God / Goddess. Light actually really wants kids but he will hold off on the thought of a family until he has properly rid the world of all evil.

Only an hour passed since L arrived back home at his favorite of their properties: a small remote cabin far enough into the woods for them to never worry about a neighbor overhearing their play. What an hour it had been, though, with Light kneeling at the door in panties, stockings, ears, and a tail plug as well as one of L’s white shirts. The case L’d been on had been boring and its weight soaked into his bones. And yet, seeing his husband and hearing in-person for the first time in three weeks his smooth voice released the anchor dragged behind L. He wrapped his kitten in his arms and they were in the bedroom before his suitcases hit the floor.

One thing I love about the Death Note musical is how Frank Wildhorn clearly took inspiration from the score of the anime in his writing (which, seeing as its kind of iconic, I'd say is totally fair and not a case of Frank "Melody Repeater" Wildhorn doing his usual thing - though that does show up too).

Like, my boyfriend has yet to hear "Stalemate" without making some sort of comment that the accompanying guitar parts sound like Light's theme. You hear the solo piano sting at the beginning of "The Game Begins", and you KNOW who's about to start singing. And I love it a lot.
