This is part two of “You summon Alastor”

They weren’t far behind.. she had to get to the basement before they broke through the bedroom door.

“Open the door and maybe we won’t kill you, you little b*tch!..” one of the men yells.. she gulps and opens the trapdoor, crawling down the ladder and swinging the hatch closed..promptly locking it.

She turns on the lights..

soft jazz still playing from the radio.

The woman had tried to turn it off multiple times in the two years that passed since that day.. nothing worked.

The men upstairs were just simple burglars but once they saw her their motives changed..

She heard The door slam open.. they were in her room so she didn’t have much time.

You knew what you had to do.. he was the only one who could get here in time.

“Alastor.. I need that favor now. Please hurry.” You whisper and get as far away from the ladder as you could.

Alastor was telling a joke to the staff of the hotel when all of a sudden he froze, one ear perking up.. she sounded quite distressed. He let out a quick “Pardon me.. I shall return momentarily.” And just like that he disappeared.. bringing himself to the living realm via the connection from the deal between him and the woman.

Alastor looked around, he was in a dark room.. ah yes.. there’s the radio he had left his broadcast on. Where was she..? He was brought from his thoughts by a unsavory voice yelling out “I found a door! Get over here-“

He frowns and questions “Y/n? Are you in here?..”

“Alastor?” a soft voice sounded from the far corner of the room. The demon finally spots her.. “Indeed, Dare I ask what’s going on here?” he answers while walking over.

She shakes her head, “there’s no time.. Do I still have that favor?..” Alastor nods, “the deal still stands.. what is it you wish me to do?” He asks while preparing to kill the men trying to break though..as he believes that’s surely what she wants. Y/n breathes in a shaky breath and meets his eyes, she wasn’t as she was before..the woman in front of him seemed..broken. “I.. if I stay here their friends will just come after me..I can’t.. I don’t care how you do it, but please..I’d rather have death by you than whatever twisted end that they have planned.” She murmurs softly.. Alastor was quite surprised as the words sunk into his mind. Now he understood what she seemed so afraid of..they didn’t want to merely rob or kill her. He let his smile drop for a few moments.. remembering how he saw that same broken look in his mother’s eyes.

“Darling..just to clarify, You want me to kill you?” He questions, wanting to be sure.

She nods shakily.

Alastor recomposes himself..his smile back in place as he clutches his microphone.

“I must admit that’s not what I was expecting. Are you certain this is what you want?”

“I am..” you whisper, mere moments later a piece of the trapdoor breaks off and drops down..they were almost in. He glances at it and then looks back at you.. “Very well.. My shadows will find you when you land, follow them. Okay?” Alastor says, taking a slow step to you. “Okay.. is it going to hurt?..” you ask, your heat beating so loudly Alastor himself could hear it. He stands in front of you..his eyes softening for a moment as he answers, “Only briefly my dear, It’ll be quick..”

your eyes begin to water.. so many questions running through your mind but you haven’t the time to ask them. Alastors hand comes up to your cheek as a tear rolls down it. He sighs softly.. of all the people he’s killed, he never felt bad for them. Why is he starting now? perhaps it’s because you reminded him of his late mother.. perhaps he’s going soft. Perhaps he’ll never know. “Now now...let’s wipe those tears away. You’ll be okay…may I ask a favor of my own?” He smiles softly as she meets his eyes, continuing, “smile my dear.. you’re never fully dressed without one..” the hatch falls in just as she smiles ever so slightly at him.. there was a deafening static and then..then her world went black.
