Guys I made a depop! If anyone wants to support me that would mean so much🖤 I’m trying to get a little extra money to pay off uni and though I might as well start a lil shop :-)
this dumbass girl was selling a $5 top on depop (i have the same one) for $20 and i called her out and she blocked me lol
seriously if you re-sell cheap shit for 4x the price you just fucking suck.
Whoever uses Depop should check me out 💕
there are no bad reviews on depop unless you get completely fucked over by a buy or seller but even then they get a harsh 3/5, like on any other site a creator will get ripped to shreds over the smallest details, this can be bad i understand, but depop is full of only gen Z bitches who are too scared to send back their food when it’s raw, you expect them to write a critical review that doesn’t end in “!!!!<3<3/)///////(\!!!”
The point is i gave some one a 4/5 over this small detail i felt was done incorrectly, i also left a public comment that was polite never eluded to my main problem, they approached and i explained my concerns, they proceeded to explain their reasoning behind this choice in their product ,which by the way professionals in this craft never do and i would later go in a alter this change, i then went on to say basically “oh ok i guess so” to which i was told my review was unfair and was asked to take it down, i did. yes i am a fucking push over but no i’m not mad over this tiny detail or that my less than perfect review isn’t up anymore, it’s the culture around reviewing on depop, WHO CONFRONTS THEIR CUSTOMERS!!?!?!? am i just crazy, like don’t get me wrong if i got a bad review it would probably eat away at my soul but i’d fucking take it
just dropped new pieces on my depop @quarterdead
I’m broke af and finally added to my Depop. Will you guys be my heroes and boost this abs follow me on there?

Hey, my name is Sydney and I sell clothes. Cute clothes, at that. I know it might be hard to find cute and affordable stuff, so why not try my shop. I’m sure you’ll find something you like. Plus, with every purchase comes a surprise! Wonder what it could be…… 😏
Check out my new Depop store!
idk what white girl needs to hear this but, Shannon, you buying and selling clothes from goodwill and value village and using the excuse “every business does this !!!!1!1!1!1!” doesn’t make you a business nor does it make it an ethical practice. you and every other depop reseller are harming poor people. the prices in thrift stores are literally going up in big cities because y’all buy 10, 20, 30, 40+ items all at once. depop has 13 million users. If 50% of people are resellers thats six million five hundred people who are buying bulk from thrift stores and selling for high profit. If 20% are resellers, thats still over two million. 5% is still six hundred and fifty thousand people buying in bulk and reselling from thrift stores. There are twenty five thousand thrift stores in the US. If only 5% of sellers on depop are reselling from thrift stores that still outweighs the amount of thrift stores by six hundred and twenty five thousand. Moreover, this is an unethical practice regardless of how many businesses or companies are participating in it, it still requires exploiting poor people and low income areas, which are where thrift stores are most comon. The exploitation, or rather abuse, is that you can drive to a goodwill 20 miles from your house, buy up as many of the clothes that you want, and go home and sell them for anywhere between $20-$200 and people will buy it. Poor and low income people drive, walk, take the bus to that same goodwill and price out how many things they can buy that day and most of it probably won’t even be for themselves. It will be for family members or children who need clothes or simply don’t understand that their family cannot afford these things. Your privilege is that when you finish at goodwill with your $30 bag of 50 items to be sold for a huge profit you get to continue enjoy that luxury of money. Source for all of this? I’m fuckng poor and I hate depop resellers.
@thriftgoblin on Instagram, DEPOP, and Mercari. If you could even throw me a like on my FB account that would be fucking awesome, though I don’t use it, it would help get more awareness.
Please help support my lil side hustle. I sell new and used clothing. All quality and unique items. Electronics. Music. Shoes. Art. Collectibles. Etc.
My main goal is to now do this to the point where I can open up a physical shop to sell my goods in store and still online.
I have so many of my own product I would like to sell, lots of big dreams, and I need to find as much support as possible. Thank you if you’re still reading.
