I drew @svenskkaktus 's boy Hayzel! He's a cute half-orc, how was I supposed to resist. He's also a tall beefy mf, so Luke is stuck being the smol bean again.
There's a whole ass comic about him, check it here it's pwetty!
okay that last post makes me want like. a literal fallen angel stars druid. I already HAVE a stars druid backup character I don’t need another one but 👀👀
I don’t talk in the succession GC but when i do…
Monk: I know how to kill a man with my thumb!
Barbarian: Who doesn't?
6 hours until the Campaign 3 premiere.
*Wizard is upset because he finally got hurt in our campaign from a random fight* Fighter - “We’ve all been hurt [Wizard], hell I’ve died” Druid - “repeatedly bloodied and beaten” Rogue - ” poisoned and kidnapped” Artificer - “been held at gunpoint” Druid - “[Fighter] got laid”
“Either she’s actually the chosen one or the fae are being even more dickish than usual and decided dressing a huge orc up as a priestess for the unicorn god would be funny.”
“It’s a joke either way.”
Whumptober day 15: Delirium
: ) I had those last 2 for awhile but the first pic was drawn by my friend @tsuki-44-blog and I slapped some color on it (with her permission) to fill another entry lollll. Murder night was a good night for no one, specifically Cam and Owen lol. But hugs are nice! I’ll add some context rp/writing below the cut.
"He will never hurt Xavier again. W-We did it…he’s d- gone…" Cam.... He reaches out, petting Owen's hair. There's blood.... everywhere but he just flicks it away.
"You made sure of it." Standing, while Owen is kneeling, he's about at eye level. On almost instinct, he presses his forehead to Owen's, searching his eyes for.... Something. Amar would do this. She did this.... That day. There was blood everywhere then too. But it was his own then. Now....
His eyes are so.... Empty.
"We made sure of it."
Little hands reaching, he pulls Owen against him in a tight embrace, hoping.... Hoping to bring some part of him back. Or perhaps.... To hold the shattered remains of this man together, even.... Even just a little longer.
Followed by an embrace. Warmth. Contrast to the cold grip of madness that had just left him. Repressed anger--now gone. The empty feeling of revenge.
Yet....what approached him was a small body. What remained of Owen in that moment was...more akin to a child. One who wouldn't fight back. If Cam could look at his face during the embrace, it would seem as though his maddened, blank expression became soft--an expression Owen almost never wears. After all, he still looks angry even when sleeping.
His body moved on its own. With a weak grip, he raises his arms forward to wrap them around whatever is in front of him. His hands touch Cam's back, as if he's trying to make sense of what's there.
He pulls Cam in ever so gently. His arms never managed to wrap fully around Cam's small body, instead it's more like he's holding Cam close--for what reason, Owen is unsure.
But he didnt care.
Not right now.
The pain was there, it had come out. It was overwhelming, and he had no idea how to deal with it.
After all, They managed to rescue Xavier from that fucking spike pit, but he was unconscious and not doing well.
He feels Owen pull him closer, and he feels.... Relieved there was a response at all. It.....feels like he's clinging to him almost.
That's fine. That's okay. That.... Means he's still there, in some way, right....?
You're not alone.... Please don't drown in this alone, until there's nothing left....
He starts running his hand through Owen's hair, like Xavier did for Cam on the first day he found him in Hartlepool....it helped ground him, then. Perhaps it could help here too....
Quietly, he hums the first melody that comes to mind. Nothing loud or amazing, just.... Something calming. A small lullaby of sorts, that his father would sing for him on bad nights.
It's not much.... And we need to get back to Xavier soon.... But. But.... Not like this. Definitely not like this....

OC-tober Dnd Edition Day 21: Triton Ranger
And by “novel”, I mean to say “utterly stupid and short-sighted.”
Earlier this evening RPGNow, Paizo, and DriveThruRPG pulled all of their Wizards of the Coast PDF products (where both new and much much much older products were available) at WotC’s request. The ability to purchase them ended at noon – the ability to download products that you’ve already bought ended at midnight.
According to Wizards of the Coast, this was done to prevent piracy. (In a followup statement, they clarified that they believe this… because they are luddite morons.)
“We have [taken these actions] to stop the illegal activities […], and to deter future unauthorized and unlawful file-sharing.”
I love the vast understatement from one gaming site today:
“I predict an increase in piracy of Wizards products.”
Let me take this one step further. I guarantee – not ‘predict’, but guaran-goddamn-tee that every single PDF of WotC products made available after midnight tonight will be a pirated copy.
Just… think about it for a second; you’ll see exactly what I mean.
See… before today? Sure, some people were sharing PDFs like that on file-sharing sites, and there was pirating going on. Sure, yes.
Was it because the PDFs were made available by WotC and sold online?
No. You’ve been able to get PDFs of ANY game book — hell, any book at all — even ones that have never had electronic versions available, ever since scanner technology became remotely mainstream (early 90s), because people have time, and geeks have desire for the electronic versions.
Until today, at least most of the people who wanted electronic versions of their game book were getting the PDFs the easy way: google search, got to RPGNow, click, click, download. No torrent software. No worrying if you picked up a virus with your latest PDF. Easy.
Now, the only way to get the electronic version of a WotC product is to get it from a pirate site.
I can either not get it at all (sucks for me, and WotC gets no money), or I get it from a torrent site (hassle for me, and WotC gets no money).
The pirating people? This has no fucking affect on them what. so. ever.
Well, no; that’s not entirely true.
This move by WotC, ostensibly meant to fight piracy, will actually ensure that more people will come to their site to download ALL the PDFs they want (for games, for novels… whatever — I mean, as long as they’re THERE for the DnD stuff, they might as well look around and see what else is out there, right?…).
It’s not just stupid and short-sighted. It doesn’t just ensure the piracy of their work by 100% of those that want PDFs of DnD material; it actually hurts all the other companies in the industry as well.
OC_tober Dnd Edition Day 21 Now I'm just mad NewBorn doesn't have as flamboyant of an outfit like this regularly. Might have to change that. This looks so good on him! He'll use whatever means necessary to get what he wants. He'll sell his soul for ultimate power or just to get a nice outfit
Want to go for a fifth character? Maybe a gangster?
I miss playing her so much...
