Days turn into weeks and as those weeks form into months there is no end in sight. No longer with friends free to do whatever we want, instead we’re inside watching the hours tick by.
People say they can’t wait till everything is back to normal, but honey this is normal. Our society is unable to go back to the way it was and people need to realize that.
Trips to the store should be infrequent, protected by a mask, and gloves if you can. 6 feet is the magic distance and groups should be limited to 10.
I’m tired of the people not following the rules. Thinking they are safe, somehow immune to the virus that has killed thousands in this world.
No one is safe. You are not special, not the magic link that has been missing to find a cure. All you’re doing is putting the people around you in harms way.
I get that it’s hard. No one knows what to do, but it is our job to stay safe by being indoors.
As the months drag on I start to realize that maybe this is how the rest of 2020 will be like. It’s a hard truth to swallow and I’ll continue to pray, but let’s be realistic our world has changed.
Life may be hard and confusing for now, but it will get better. We’ll learn to adapt and make the best of what we have. This isn’t the end of the world, just a little set back.
