@empawhistle inquired: " Do you think we could do surgery on hunters to find out what they're made of, miss Dyer? Like, how does color change work on Joseph?? Do you think he has additional organ for that or something? "

“Most of the hunters were once humans like us but died an unfortunate death,” Emily replied without looking up from the paper she was writing on. She had to keep records on all of the survivors and their health whenever they came to see her in her clinic--or, rather, the spare bedroom she set up to be a clinic. Emily usually didn’t mind the other survivors talking to her, even if she usually kept rather quiet herself, but the topic that the Psychologist was going on about...it unnerved her.
It was wrong to cut someone up just to see what was inside... Her morals may be broken from what she has experienced, from what she has allowed herself to lose, but that fact remained true to her. Just as she wouldn’t cut open any of the survivors to see what was inside...she wouldn’t dream of doing the same to the hunters.
“This manor is full of some sort of magic.” Emily didn’t expect Ada to entirely realize this, as she was still new. “You become used to the hunters making no sense... The Photographer changes color just as oddly as how my syringe heals any sort of injury.”
