I’ve learned that in college if you focus all of your energy into one area of your life, you succeed, at the cost of all other areas of your life. Like if you put all of your effort into your studies your grades will improve, but your social life won’t exist. You probably won’t spend as much time with God, and your family relationships may not be as strong. One grows, and the others fall. There’s times when you miss bible study so you can stay at home cramming for a big exam the next day. But I’ve learned that if you focus on God, put Him first, you will succeed in every area of your life.
Put more of your energy and effort into worshiping the Lord, and all other areas of your life will fall into place. And remember that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. Chase after God with everything you have, and watch him work in your life, restore your relationships, and renew your strength.

It’s okay not to have it all figured out. It’s okay not to know where exactly you will be going or where you will end up. Just start somewhere. Just show up - and see where God leads you. Commit yourself to be constantly learning and to face all with humility, success or failure, the known or the unknown. God has placed you here because He has a purpose for you in this moment, in this place. So keep going one step at a time. He holds this all in His hands.
If God wants you to have it, the blessing will forever have your name on it. That’s why it’s not important to overthink or question the way things unfold in your life. There is a certain timing and purpose attached to each every circumstance that you face in your life. When you start to build that faith, you gain a confidence towards your life’s natural course and direction. You feel humble knowing you truly realize that you’re always in the process of becoming and that God is always in your corner no matter the weather.
Through your uncertainty and questions, through your trials and temptations, through your suffering and sadness, through every hardship that hits you, know this…
God is good.
God is mercy.
God is almighty.
God is trustworthy.
God is sovereign.
God is near.
This truth isn’t like a band aid attempting to patch our gaping wounds. It’s an eternal promise, an anchor for our souls when we’re overcome by the storm.

They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
None of us knows what might happen even the next minute, follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.
- Shubham Mahajan
You may be going through the most difficult time in your life, but let me encourage you that God’s word will sustain you as it has sustained me. And He will sustain you too. Isaiah 50:4 says, He wakens me morn ing by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. Let the supernatural life giving power of God’s Word give you strength to go on one day at a time.
Colossians 3:16 says, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Claim His strength and His peace. Hang on to His hope. His power. All that He is, is available to you and me through His Word. There is renewal of life in God’s Word.
Weaknesses, failures, and sins are the places where we learn that we need grace. It is there, in those dark mercies, that God teaches us to be humbly dependent on Him. It is there that He draws near to us and sweetly reveals His grace. Paul’s suffering teaches us to reinterpret our thorn in the flesh. Instead of seeing it as a curse, we are to see it as the very thing that keeps us pinned close to the Lord.
Adversity does profound work within us. Jesus learned obedience through what he suffered. Hebrews 5:8.
Peter says that trials test our faith and will result in praise, glory and honor at the revelation of Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-8.
David declared, It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes. Psalm 119:71
Paul states that affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory. 2 Corin.4:17
James says that trials produce steadfastness, which make us perfect and complete. James 1:2-4
And so as I look at my life, I am grateful for suffering. The struggles I complained about and begged God to remove have changed me. They have kept me praying. Kept me in His word. Taught me obedience. Brought me closer to God.
I hope that you become filled with so much happiness that it heals every part of you
If it was right when you prayed about it and trusted it and lived for it, it is right now. Don’t give up when the pressure mounts. Don’t give in. Certainly don’t give in to that being who is bent on the destruction of your happiness. He wants everyone to be miserable like himself. Face your doubts. Master your fears. Cast not away therefore your confidence. Stay the course and see the beauty of life unfold for you.
Are the garments of yesterday holding you back and weighing you down? Maybe it’s time to exchange that heaviness for His garment of praise. Maybe it’s time to release those heavy burdens. It’s time to forgive those who have hurt you and begin to praise your way into a new season. Start right now by thanking Him for the life you have today. Thank Him for the opportunities today has to offer. Thank Him for the beautiful sunrise. Put on the garment of praise and release the spirit of heaviness.
