My teacher is talking about the French Revolution but I am on tumblr laughing about posts of people shipping two twenty something men and theorizing about a weird internet series. We as a species are devolving
gonna keep updating u guys on my wonderful decision to fucking do a last life play for my theatre finals. anyways heres my summary
I found this meme over here on Twitter and immediately thought of my boys so what better thing to do than redraw it?
22nd of November- we discussed first project outcomes and we were reassured, as well as looking at design websites and various font platforms for inspiration.
Give yourself permission to use big fonts, fun fonts, fonts that are easier for you to read.
I’ve been sitting here trying to read 12 Times New Roman for an hour because I can’t find my glasses and let me tell you
Turning up the font size and picking something with tails and flicks to differentiate between letters?
So writers, be nice to yourself, be nice to your eyes.
I know the manuscript needs to be in 12 Times New Roman
But the draft doesn’t.
Imagine Airborne Babel’s guitars frolicking through your earphones as your asshole brother is in the driver’s seat, dodging pedestrians and cutting off competitive taxi drivers in the crowded dense streets of New York City. He’s sweating expletives and exuding second-hand smoke from his cigarette drifting towards you. Phone’s endlessly ringing. He’s texting while driving. Babel’s distortion compliments the intensity of sudden acceleration of weaving through lanes and praying we beat red lights. The screams equating the high-end stress of blaring horns in all directions. The intense drums while riding over the humming slats and those strumming guitars streaking throughout as I hold on for dear fucking life, praying we don’t get side-swiped or unintentionally run over moving targets as we beat the endless traffic home if we didn’t leave the doctor’s office at the right time. 12:20PM we leave the doctor’s office, by 1:30 we arrive home safe and sound in one piece; lucky to be alive.
