First day in Rome
First day in Rome
i need to replay chapter 1 to pay attention to ralsei, but like. we all think its Weird that he can jump from the school dark world to the library dark world, without kris carrying him across??
Memories stuck--- unable to ( recall ) for the transition that settled the Rules Card between a moment & another, where a monotonous familiarity reigned, guided by dimly illumined lines separating walls from floor & other elements to an entire colorful landscape, adorned in grace & charm--- where crystalline colorful distorted mirrors hanged in suspense after him, filtering sunlight in order to create an astonishing optical illusion.
His steps echo in the profound silence, making the atmosphere vibrate in mystery. His once tall & majestic figure shows up ( small ) in this vast newborn scenery where the unknown ---for a fraction of moment-- seems to mischievously take the position of LEADER until a voice shatters against such mere expectations & acquires an identity he doesn't only recognize well, but also refuses to ignore for it's the divine personification of ( beauty ).
He is unable to shield his sentiments behind the attitude of a collected & self confident man. Timid eyes, chin downwards point humbly towards the throne after him not only with hesitation but also confusion as his face acquires a vivid tint. Vital substances accumulating in the center of his visage as an involuntary response upon witnessing such ALMIGHTY presence.
——❝Thine... realme... it means--- It can Only Meane--- Thou Art thy... queen. . . thy. . . . g o d d e s s . . . here ?❞ His voice tone reduces to a faltering whisper as he's desperately attempting to ESCAPE from awe. He'd wish, Alas, to become more verbal over the matter. And even so--- the Royal's elegance captivates his heart. His gaze is lost, caught on her angelic eyes, as his head is subtly tilted, mesmerized by her eminent appearance.

Let’s check in with Shiori (✿◡‿◡)
Shiori liked taking a walk each morning. It helped her wake up and just take some time to relax, and since she was often far from home, she got to explore wherever she’d ended up on business. Today it was Nathar, formerly the capital of Berké, specifically the old palace, as she was going to be making a deal with one of the ministers there later in the day. For now though, she was simply a visitor, wandering the halls.
But something in one of the many paintings lining a particular hallway caught her eye. She stopped, looking up to see that it featured the most recent king and queen from before Xerna’s conquest with...their son. Something was intensely familiar about him, and she didn’t quite realize what it was until she looked down at the names on the plaque below: Queen Elisenda, King Talos, and Prince...Prince Erebus.
Memories came flooding back to her all of a sudden. Of dancing under the Midnight Sun, of a spot of cream on his nose, of being together in the garden, of flatbreads with jam. Looking back up at the painting...that was him, albeit a bit younger, wasn’t it? Besides his hair, which was much longer in the painting than it had been when she met him, he had the same blue eyes, the same smile, the same way of standing...At the sound of a guard walking by, Shiori turned towards them.
“Excuse me, is...do you know what happened to the royal family after Xerna took over? The family in this painting?”
The guard stopped, their face falling slightly. “Well...the queen died a few years prior to the war, and the king was killed when Nathar fell. As for the prince,” their voice dropped, “he was captured and branded before being taken away. To this day we don’t know where, or what ended up happening to him.”
Shiori felt an awful feeling start to grow in the pit of her stomach. “When-when you say branded, do you mean-”
“With a hot iron. Like cattle.” The guard shuddered, gripping their spear tightly. “I don’t think I’ll ever forget the way he screamed.”
There was silence for a moment as Shiori tried to imagine the man she’d met that night screaming in pain. If that really had been him...what had he been doing there that night? But the way he’d been hesitant to talk about himself, so desperate to remember every moment of the night, that incredibly sad look in his eyes as they said their goodbyes, the fact that he never met her at the fountain, that her efforts to track him down came up short…“I think I met him.”
“What?! When? He-he’s still alive then was he okay-”
“I-it was years ago, at a party in Taiyorum. He-he just seemed like a normal person, but now that I think about it there was something off and it might have been because he was-was a prisoner or something, even though...I don’t know.” She furrowed her brow. “I never saw him again after that day.”
Shiori looked back up at the painting, at those bright blue eyes she’d all but forgotten.
Erebus...what happened to you?
She never did find out.

@revolvinghell liked for a starter
It was a quiet evening in the Card Kingdom and located deep into the maze forest the certain chaotic jester was having a ball as he was enjoying being let into the caged Kingdom. Jevil was currently hopping from tree to tree collecting as many dark candies as he could fit in his hat and cape.
After gathering what was about two dozens worth of candy fruit he hopped down and went to find a nice shady tree to sit under.
It took the jester a moment to find the right tree but once he did he happily sat down and began to eat away slowly at his pile of sweets.
You can use your Sun Salutation with the Fountain visualization to refresh you, clear your energy and / or to ground you emotionally.
To start with, it’s helpful if you’re familiar with The Fountain. Here’s my link to how to do it: https://tinyurl.com/z4k2gur.
Basically, you imagine you are a fountain and that your body is the center tube for this fountain. At your feet is an endless pool of water, or light.
With each breath in you draw water / light up along the full length of your body. With each breath out, it tumbles down all around you, back down to your feet.
To use this during your Sun Salutation:
Stand in Namaste for a moment, taking time to establish the visualization. Get a feeling for yourself as the fountain.
In Namaste breathe the water/light in through your feet and out through the top of your head.
In the back bend of the Wood Chopper, breathe the water/light in through your feet and out through your finger tips.
In the forward bend of the Wood Chopper, breathe the water/light in through your feet, up to your hips or your head, and out through your arms and fingers.
In the Lunge, breathe the water/light in through your feet and out through your head, feeling it tumble around the outside of your whole body.
In Downward Dog, breathe the water/light in through your feet, up to your hips or your head, and out through your arms and fingers.
In Cobra, breathe the water/light in through your feet, up to your head. As you breathe out and twist, imagine the water/light pouring out through your mouth in a little jet.
In Puppy, breathe the water/light in through your feet, up to your hips or your head, and out through your arms and fingers.
In Cat, imagine the cat movement is pumping more water/light up from your feet, into your upper body. Go directly from this to Downward Dog for the breath out.
In the next Downward Dog, breathe out through your arms and fingers.
In the next Lunge breathe the water/light in through your feet and out through your head, feeling it tumble around the outside of your whole body.
As you return upright, breathing in, start drawing the water/light in through your feet, and then up along your whole body, as if pulling yourself upright is pumping the water/light up your body.
Keep breathing in and drawing the water/light upright as you begin your next Wood Chopper, starting your next round
OR To close: Keep breathing in, drawing the water/light up your body, as your arms lift into Namaste. Breathing out, settle into your closing Namaste, feeling the water/light sink into your heart center.

“That could have gone better.” The Necrophos leaned against the fountain on the edge of the square as he and the half deer next to him waited for their allies. He always looked scary, but now he was scowling more than usual, his eyes glowing in an eerie white light.
The Enchantress was a creature of the forest, a creature of life and joy. There was always a spring to her steps and some plants clinging to her clothes. Rotund’jere in contrast was a creature of the dead, or at least the dying. His skin was sickly green, as if he was always ill, and he spread this illness wherever he walked. Aiushtha could feel it and how it pulled on her but didn’t let it drag her down. So she grinned now and raised the hand that wasn’t holding her spear. It was closed into a loose fist.
“I was able to save this from the middle of our fight.” She opened her hand and there, on her palm, sat a small yellow butterfly, slowly moving its wings up and down. “It would’ve been trampled otherwise. So I grabbed it and protected it.”
The scowl on Rotund’jeres face deepened even more, something Aiushtha would’ve thought impossible. He pushed away from the fountain but before he could move closer to the Enchantress, the butterfly fluttered into the air and away from them. “You saved a stupid butterfly while we were fighting?”
With a sigh, the Enchantress moved around the Necrophos and dipped her hand into the water of the fountain. It hadn’t taken any of the illness from the plague-mage. Yet. “Yeah, it was so small and there was so much danger around it.” Her fingers created waves as they moved round and round. “We had already lost the fight when I caught it and I don’t need both of my hands to throw my spear anyway.” Of course she had known that Rotund’jere wouldn’t care about a butterfly. She didn’t mind. She smiled, glad that she had been able to help the small and fragile creature.
“If you had concentrated more on the fight instead of something unimportant as this insect maybe we would’ve won. We could be destroying the fountain of the enemy instead of sitting here, all beaten up.”
The soft laugh of the Enchantress filled the air. “Maybe.” Her legs twitched. Aiushtha was restless, the same as Rotund’jere. She liked losing a fight just as much as the mage. The difference was that he got grumpy when he was defeated while the Enchantress tried to go into the next fight motivated and with a positive attitude. Saving a butterfly might be the only good thing about the last fight, but it made her smile. And contrary to what she had just said, she didn’t believe that saving a butterfly had been the reason they had lost the fight. She was able to keep smiling now, so she’d be able to keep fighting.
A flick of her fingers sent the last drops of water that clung to her skin back into the fountain. And in that moment, their allies arrived. “Let’s do this!” Aiushtha exclaimed excitedly as she bounced forward without pause, towards the next fight.
When it was quiet around the fountain, the butterfly landed on the rim of it. A droplet of water had landed there and the small creature used it to take a drink.
I've been sick since Thursday. I don't get sick very often, at most I get a runny nose every year but this has been the second time already. Luckily I tested negative for covid, still it is no less annoying to be sick. There is a small upside towards being sick though, it distracts. My mental health has been oscillating quickly, and when I feel physically as bad as I do mentally it is easy to focus on the physical. Just as while I may loath my inability to do any coursework currently, it is nice to finally get around to watching films that I've wanted to watch for a very long time. Small pleasures we must derive from any situation, I suppose.
im thinking about how i write for kris and how they are in this rp and just . fuck.
