final night of the 2020 zoo lights season at the stone zoo. something distinctly weird about going to a christmas event weeks after christmas is over, but I can never resist an ostentatious light show. a fun time for $15, and we saw a kindly reindeer & arctic fox.

new year’s day trip to the quincy quarry. I’ve lived in boston for almost a decade (and not that far from it before that) and somehow never been here. there’s an insane amount of truly chaotic and beautiful graffiti. seems like it would be *the* spot to get wasted and smoke drugs if you are a teenager from quincy. I would love for someone to start booking bands out here someday.
