Understanding The Male Hustler By Sam Steward
I don’t see enough books/shows/movies/fanfics about gay (umbrella term) couples who use the term “partner” instead of “boyfriend” or “girlfriend”

Trolling is living in the country of origin with a homophobic government and using the university that I work for book allowance to buy the English translation of a Chinese gay novel.
I also got a good amount of cleaning done today. I took a bunch of trash out and am probably doing more tomorrow. Both to clean this place up and to make packing for school easier
i just finished the crier’s war duology and where is the fandom?!?!
highly recommend crier’s war by nina varela, sapphic enemies to lovers slowburn, yes please.
loosely adapted from a discord message that i was reminded of by a post tag: there’s really Something about LXC, Perfect Cultivator and Gentleman, who tries so hard to be good and careful and proper and Handle things, who’s presented as graceful and kickass and again, A Perfect Gentleman from his first appearance, falling apart piece by piece in Guanyin Temple, losing his perfect control, questioning everything he’s ever believed, and winding up with the blood of his sworn brother and benefactor & lover on his hands;
and SMS, Guy Who Failed Like Right Out Of The Gate At Being All That, who gets--and i say this lovingly--owned in pretty much his every onscreen appearance, who’s an asshole, who’s obviously gotten his hands dirty for years working for and with jgy offscreen, spends a fair amount of Guanyin Temple showing he’s remarkably skilled, he’s capable of respect and good conduct when he thinks it’s deserved, he seems perfectly damn secure in his view of the world, and he’s capable of admirable slash terrifying levels of loyalty. and then he ends Guanyin Temple sacrificing his life without hesitation for his benefactor slash man he loves
