Monster Event Day 21: Saytr! Prosciutto x Reader
Reader gets stood up on a date and Prosciutto offers them comfort
Warning! Reader does have a moment of self doubt/insecurity! But I promise you it's mostly comfort than hurt in this fic <3
You sighed and took another sip of your water. 'He was supposed to be here half an hour ago.'. It wasn't til it hit the hour mark you took your leave out of the restaurant, already feeling the light stinging at the corners of your eyes. You didn't even make it to your car yet before you started pulling up the number of someone you needed to go to.
Although Prosciutto knew you were coming over, he didn't expect you to be in your finer clothes, face flushed and eyes glossy. He didn't even say anything, only making room for you to walk in and he guided you to the couch. "Do you want anything to drink? Wine?" You shook your head in response. "No thank you." You got yourself comfortable and it wasn't long before Prosciutto came back and sat by you. "Now, as we wait..tell me who did this to you." His voice was low and serious. It was something that you've gotten used to, but it never failed to intimidate you. "It's no one important.. I just got stood up by some asshole." He scoffed, "If it was 'no one important' you wouldn't be here." You can feel your eyes watering again and you took some deep breaths to calm yourself more.
"It's just disappointing..it just makes you feel so shitty when you have something going on with someone and they just leave you. They don't even tell you what you did wrong.." Prosciutto scooted closer to you and held one hand and placed his other on the side of your face, his palm holding your cheek gently. "I can promise you that you didn't do anything wrong, Y/n. It's truly their loss that they didn't get to see you tonight. You deserve better, not a jackass that won't even acknowledge your efforts into the relationship." He wiped away a tear on your cheek and moved his other hand from your face to hold your other hand. "It's getting late, I prefer if you stay here for the night. "
You couldn't help but throw your arms around the saytr, effectively catching him off guard. "Thank you so much, Prosciutto." It took him not long to recover from his flustered state at the action, only hugging back and gently rubbing his head next to yours in affection. He helped you up from the couch and led you to a guest bedroom. He rummaged through the dresser and gifted you a pile of clothes. "All I have are Pesci's old clothes for you to sleep in. He's had fluctuations with his weight over the years, so there should be something there that's fitting. My room is down the hall if you need me."
He turned around to leave before pausing and turning back to you. "Goodnight, Y/n. Sleep well." With that he gave a quick kiss to your forehead before walking away, shutting the bedroom door behind him. Maybe it's a good thing your date didn't go as planned.
The Warrior’s Heart Female Reader x Hisoka x Wammu
Today’s story is about the reader entertaining an interesting chat between Wamuu and Hisoka. Both met this lovely reader at a match held in Heaven’s Arena. Wamuu became a floor master in a matter of seconds while Hisoka worked his way to the top. Both Wamuu and Hisoka had the pleasure of fighting each other and even though Hisoka lost, he gained something on the way. You were the “talk of the town” ready to become a floor master. After seeing your stunning performance, both men became infatuated with you, often seeking help to improve their fighting tactics.
On this day, both men decided they wanted a reward for your help. They halted their plans when both discovered they had a scheduled date on the same day. Who will win her heart?
Let’s find out!
At the end of the hallway on floor 11, Wamuu, the mighty warrior, was humming to himself quietly. The Pillar Man’s eyes shut, legs crossed, and did not flinch at the slightest touch. Unless you ever touch his extended horn. His right hands gently stroked your hair, smoothing the grease and creating waves in her hair. She carelessly laid her head on his brick-like chest, her hand on his abs, probably dreaming of eating beef. For a moment, Wamuu accidentally gazed at his significant other, becoming entranced by her beauty. The muscles on her arm were just noticeable. Her long eyelashes rested gently on her cheek while the reddish-orange shimmy eyeshadow danced underneath the light. For the first time, he felt a tug at his heart, a quiet voice telling him to plant a kiss somewhere on her shapely body. Wamuu’s large hand’s mick something of a baseball glove; broad, but has a softcore. If anyone saw your face being held in the center of his palms, they’d coo at such a sight, somehow reminiscing about newborn pictures. The sudden movement of his hands startled you, causing you to lift your heavy head and contact the mighty warrior. Although the insides of his hands were rough and slightly callused, they provided great warmth and stability. The softness of your chin rested in his palm. His sudden movement felt like a rollercoaster meeting its peak and at that peak, stood his piercing eyes and lips. Showing signs of affection may have been limited for the Pillar Man, but when you were in his presence, he couldn’t resist pressing a few kisses to your mouth.
You released a sigh of pleasure, wishing you two were alone and, although it seemed like you were for the moment, the hallways soon became full of guests and contestants as they made their way to the arena downstairs. Wamuu stood to his feet and stretched. Sitting still for several hours posing as a pillow was for you was heaven, but not so much for his back. His beefy arms wrapped around your torso, helping you up and nearly guiding you as you walked towards your suite. The large man laughed when he glimpsed your weary face, somehow wondering how he was lucky enough to be involved with a very skilled fighter. You reminded him of Pillar Women; the very species that performed better than males at many activities and gave birth to many children at once. Your willpower, strength, and intelligence made him feel whole. In a moment, Wammu slung your body in his arms, carrying you like a fragile package. He kissed your cheek twice, squeezing you against his pecks. If he squeezes you harder, you might have been absorbed.
“How was your slumber, human?” he asked. “I could feel your heartbeat on my leg. It was pounding, so I woke you up. I hope you didn’t have any nightmares.”
You placed your right hand on his sharp collar bone, gently stroking the skin on his shoulder, and finally smiled. Taking over 5 seconds to respond as much too long as the mighty warrior. Although he was becoming impatient, he gently grabbed your cheek with his thumb and index finger and tugged at it.
“Owww!” You wince in pain. The Pillar man’s hands are freakishly huge. Sometimes he forgets and apologizes several times.
“I wanted to make sure you were alive. You were talking and then you stopped.”
“Yes, I am alive and well, Wamuu. You don’t have to carry me, you know. I can walk.”
“Nonsense. You’ve had a hard day at work. Bring at the arena and Working at a hospital for 12 hours straight can drain your energy. Humans need time to rest.”
“Try telling the company that. I’m sure they’ll listen to you!”
“Aren’t you going to rest when you get to your apartment?”
“No. I have to complete a few assignments and then I have to exercise.”
The force of his tightened hold on your body made you jolt. Your tiny fingers grabbed hold of his shoulder quicker and tighter, while an involuntary whimper escaped your lips. Wammu thought of your sudden change in attitude as rather cute. At his height, if you were to drop to the ground, you’d severely injure yourself.
“What was that for? You were about to drop me!”
“You said that you could walk!”
“I was bluffing, ok? Continue to carry me to the car. My feet are throbbing so badly that I’m sure there are blisters on my heel!”
“I will only pamper you so much, my dear. Learn to work through your pain or else you’ll become a daffodil.”
“Hmm! I am not a daffodil! I am a tough girl!”
Wamuu loosened his right arm, causing your feet to hit the ground. The instant censoring pain shot through your legs, causing you to collapse on the ground. Wamuu stood still; waiting for you to stand up again. You weren’t humiliated but annoyed as your significant other often released mixed signals. One moment he wants to pamper you like a queen and in the other, he treats you like a rookie training for an ancient Rome match. Wamuu’s muffled chuckling made you furious. Once he gazed at your puckered face, he hid his mouth behind his hand.
“You’re awfully cute when you’re angry.”
“Oh, shut it, mister!”
“I can’t help but pinch your cheeks!”
“Pinch my cheeks and you will be along on Valentine’s Day. I’ll pick up another shift and when I return, you’ll be spending that day rubbing my feet instead of eating a turkey!”
His arrogant smile dropped quicker than Quavo’s latest album.
“I guess you win this argument. I’ll see you at home.”
“Oh, cheer up! Kars will come around and take you to my place and we’ll continue to talk.”
Wamuu glanced at you once more before he acknowledged your statement. The Pillar man was known for playing mind games on you; he’d always appear to be sad when you departed only because he craved for you to stroke his face near his horn. Most Pillar Men have different reactions, but Wamuu’s was the gentlest. The area near his horn is like infants; the area is very soft but does not show any indention. If you stroke it, it relaxes them. If they were once angry, agitated, or energetic, a few strokes will calm them down completely. Here, a stroke to the forehead will set Wamuu’s wondering mind at ease. It makes him feel like he’s floating on clouds. Without direction, Wammu lowered his head to your level and tilted his forehead above your raised hand. Gently stroking his forehead, the large man leaned into your touch and demanded that you scratch the middle of his head. You already knew that Wamuu’s deep voice was incredibly intimidating, but the sounds of his light-hearted purring seem to strike a chord in your chest. It made you smile, even laugh because you’d never seen him so vulnerable to the public before. He hadn’t seen you in over two months. The last thing he wanted was to wait for more. If anyone laughed at his vulnerability, he’d deal with them, anyway. His face darkened just on his cheekbone, his brows were furrowed, and his teeth were loose. Just a mere touch made him feel wonderful. When you released, his eyes opened.
“I’ll see you at home, Wamuu. We can continue there.”
Wamuu stared at your body as you carelessly walked away; every sway of your hips, even the limp in your walk, made the man’s thoughts run wild. Where the heck was Kars and why was he taking so long?!
After seeing your apartment light, you rush over and unlock your door. Although working is a must and having fun is an option, you were inching to hang out with your friends and inviting Wamuu to come along. Working hard has its advantages, but the disadvantages outweigh the pros. Hallucinations are common from lack of sleep and are not fun. As you entered your apartment, all the lights were off. You didn’t mind; the only thing you focused on was falling flat onto your bed only to have your partner lay next to you. Your clothes were thrown on the floor along with your undergarments; your underwear was thrown in front of the door near the litter box. What better way to finally snooze while nude laying in a comfortable bed? The warmth of the heater and your blanket made the pain in your feet fade away. Your fluttering eyelids were closing soon, but a touch to your back made you jolt. You quickly swatted your back, assuming it was a spider, but to your surprise, it was MUCH worse. When your eyes adjusted to the darkness, you turned your lamp on. At the sight of Hisoka Morrow, you grabbed your blanket and covered your chest and lower torso. Hisoka was no stranger, but seeing you naked only excited him. He mistook a few flings as a commitment and did not understand boundaries. True enough, you had powerful feelings for Hisoka, but not romance. Wamuu has truly stolen your heart for both a warrior and partner while Hisoka is more of a “bad boy” experience. It’s odd. You liked them both to a certain extent, but you knew you could only have one.
“Hisoka! Get out of my bed!”
“Why? You’re so warm and it’s cold outside.”
“I don’t care! If you wanted to come over, you should have told me!”
“Why? It’s not like you’re seeing anyone else worth it.”
You turn your head away from Hisoka. Although you were immensely proud of Wamuu and his achievements, he sometimes could be kooky. Given his enormous feet, he’s easily destroying things, tripping over things, accidentally injuring people, and being too heavy-handed. Still, you loved him. You aren’t embarrassed to be with him. Sometimes you have to remember to be patient, as he is still adjusting to human life. He is an honorable warrior with a gentle soul.
“Are you referring to that buffoon? You can’t be serious. You’re too beautiful for him.”
“I’m TOO beautiful for you too, you know? You should be grateful that I gave you a chance.”
“That’s why I’m here, dove.”
“Don’t call me that. What we had is over and it has been for a while.”
“I’m here to correct my error. Give me a chance.”
“Hisoka, listen carefully. I am dating a mighty warrior now. You had your chance, and you blew it. You are welcome to try again, but sadly, I don’t think you’ll ever get the chance again. Wamuu and I are on good terms. He’s coming over tonight. I don’t think he’s going to enjoy seeing his treasure in bed with garbage.”
“Ouch,” Hisoka said, placing his hands over his bare chest. “I didn’t know you could be so cruel. I like it!”
“Since you won’t leave, sleep in the living room. That way Wamuu doesn’t flip his ship when he sees you. You may act tough but he will rip you to shreds.”
Hisoka released a heavy sigh and proceeded to roll over you. The exaggerated heavy roll of his body made you squeal in pain. The magician smiled at the sound of your angry grunts and proceeded to your living room. As the door shut and the apartment was completely dark, your mind began to wander, thinking of Wamuu and his presence. The moon had been out for at least two hours and the streets remained empty.
“Where could he be,” you asked out loud. “I miss his warmth…but I don’t like being absorbed.”
The wind continued to brush hard against your window, somehow sounding like a rhythmic tapping sound on your windowpane. Ignoring the repetitive sound was already difficult but after 5 minutes, it began to disturb you. There had been a tree branch but when you glanced at the window, there was no shadow of one.
“Well, it isn’t Hisoka. What is it?”
Usually, when something mysterious is knocking on your window, you should never approach it blindly, but the lack of sleep costs you your judgment. As you approached the window, the moonlight no longer shined through your shade. It was blocked by something rather large. If you didn’t confront the issue now, you wouldn’t be able to sleep at all. It’s now or never.
“On three,” you whispered to yourself. You placed your right hand on your curtain and your bat on your left. “1….2….3!”
At your surprise, the large figure was none other than Wamuu, the might warrior of. The remaining Pillar Men. You threw your bat to the ground and quickly opened your window. A large gush of cold air rushed through the window. Wamuu hadn’t looked so confused before. Even as intimidating as he appeared, his creased face was a sight for sore eyes. You couldn’t help but smile at his innocence….human life just isn’t for him.
“Wamuu! Why are you outside of my window at midnight?! For God’s sake, you’re going to get killed!
“I wanted to come in but I figured you were resting. I’m ok with staying outside until sunrise.”
“No, Wamuu. Go through the entrance and I’ll meet you there. If you stay outside, you will be frozen in a few minutes.”
“You can warm me up with a little peck.”
“Are you sure, mighty warrior?”
“That’s what I proposed, wasn’t it?”
“If you insist.”
Your small lips quickly pressed against his. The cold sensation of the medal of his lip ring sent shivers down your spine.
“I’ll be downstairs to let you in.”
Gosh, will you ever catch some Z’s? Slipping on your fuzzy teddy bear slippers and putting on your wool winter coat, you make your way to the first floor. Hisoka was sound asleep on your couch and was suddenly woken up by the gush of air that entered the apartment when you opened the front door.
“Where are you going,” he asked groggily.
“Wamuu’s downstairs. You have 1 minutes to disappear or he’ll help you.”
You slam the door, leaving the magician in nothing but darkness. Wamuu was your main priority. Helping him adapt to human life was already challenging…you didn’t need anymore distractions.
