“I am Death, I come to take the soul and leave the body and leave it cold. To draw up the flesh off of the frame, dirt and worm both have a claim. Oh Death, won’t you spare me over ‘til another year?”

At the beginning of the year I also started my own bestiary for fun and will be importing entries over from my Instagram over time. Sit back, relax and embrace the macabre.

The elegant, mysterious medieval lady or sexy fetishy witch/vamp or both mixed together. As if that’s the only thing about the scene. I have nothing against the styles, I like it, but it just isn’t the face of the whole scene and it’s sad that it gets reduced to the pretty “normal looking” women. People who look like demons or like they crawled right out of a grave. Because the appeal of the scene is to not give a fuck about beauty standards.

Future video: all-woman goth bands from Latin America. I can think of about four or five off the top of my head. Are there any you can recommend?
