Blue Birthday - Episode 4
We are back to the present and Harin went to a church. Well I guess it's the orphanage because the nun brings in a file about Seojun. She says he was a very quiet child, easy to deal with. Then also that he was adopted by a couple that lost their child at an amusement park. They said Seojun looked a lot like their lost son. But... like lost as in he died or lost as in lost? I wouldn't let someone who lost their child in an amusement park adopt, that screams irresponsible parents. But maybe we will get more background info? Anyways, in the end, it's still just a drama, with very short episodes, so I don't get my hopes too high. And the nun says every time he came to visit as a student and always talked about her.
She goes on to meet with Seojun's sister. She asks her about how he was at home. She says he was just like any other regular guy. And also that he was adopted and that he became like this because of her. Oh so she was lost and came back to her parents, happily. But that was hard for Seojun. She feels bad for not knowing all of this back then. And she's even more determined to save him.
She jumps back in the past around when they are about to enter a photography contest about family. I guess it gives Seojun pressure since he's not getting along so well with his family and doesn't feel like he belongs. She helps him to solve the matter with his mom by send her the text he hesitated so much to send and she even gave him a note with what he should tell his mom. She even followed him to dinner and forgets her phone. And her promise to Sujin. They get to talk and hug it out. This is so sad TT
She goes back to her cellphone and notices she forgot about Sujin. Then Seojun calls her to meet up. So she ditches Sujin... That's bad. Seojun thanks her for what she did and she says it's nothing.
When she's back to the present though, she is no longer friends with Sujin. Buuuut. Seojun didn't die. So she runs again to him and hugs him. So changing the past might have brought something good, but it would also bring something bad.
I'm just a little down that she solved the matter of his death that easily? I don't know, that's not exactly what I signed up for? But then again, everything is so smooth, I might change my mind as watch the remaining episodes.
