the luck of the draw
Whiteash, is a town like no other. In the depths of Massachusetts, Whiteash was established in the 17th century in desperation. The founders of the town were individuals from five families, each family representing a species and each family searching for a sanctuary from the infamous witch trials. Whiteash had always been engulfed by magic. The coven of witches was rivalled only by the neighbouring village of salem. In order to protect the town from horrific events ever happening again, a council was formed. A representative from each species we chosen to sit on this council, watching over their species and protecting the town. In modern day, the old ways of Whiteash are still upheld. The council and the five families of Whiteash still protect the town, from those who threaten it… as well as from itself.
only draws the unlucky
Things in the eery town have been peaceful for generations. But late one October night… an amber light could be seen from anywhere in Whiteash, along with an overwhelming sense of dread. As he townspeople drew closer they could see the horrific sight of the historical Great Whiteash burning. Supernatural’s over the town began to lose control of their powers, magic became temperamental and creatures turned against their will howling in the darkness. In the morning the flames burnt out and the people of Whiteash saw each other in the plain daylight. The council quickly turned on eachother, blaming one another for the destruction of the cornerstone of their community.
