thinking back on ians role in dennys death, i honestly dont think i wouldve had an issue with him locking denny in the room had it been any other character. like did a 13 yr old deserve to die? not in anyway shape or form, however, he was trying to get revenge for his son which is pretty par for the course on eastenders, and if it had been any other father character accidentally causing the death of someone who’d been tormenting their son, i genuinely think i mightve been on their side. but its ian beale and he has zero rights so i want him taking down for it
