Fight caps second meeting on Lake George
I promise I’m not usually this sappy… but watching clouds pour and flow over snow capped peaks chokes me up for real.
These are some photos of my hometown Marianna, Fl that was affected by Hurricane Michael. From speaking with family & friends: No one has power, water, and food. The surrounding areas have run out of supplies and other extended family has had to travel to Pensacola, Fl and other areas just to take clean baths & get clothes from their respective retail stores. Houses have been demolished & the Jackson County Hospital were my pregnant aunt was staying for a check up roof’s collapsed so she has been relocated. In my year’s living there my family nor have I’ve experienced anything like this in our lives. If you could keep all the Victims in your prayers that would be greatly appreciated & any contributions or donations of any kind will be much received with gratitude. I will be accepting donations to my cash app: $TiannaLong where my family and I will be gathering supplies and distributing them to local churches so that other victims can receive them. I would appreciate it greatly and any donations would be accepted. Please pray for Jackson County & all surrounding areas affected from Hurricane Michael. Thank you. 🙏🏾

Hello foot lovers,
I want to let everyone know that although I will be in Jackson County from May 25th to May 29th or 30th (depending on things), I will not be available for photo sessions on Memorial Day Monday, which is May 28th, 2018, as I have personal business to attend to that day. If you were planning to have your barefoot photo session on Monday, please make plans to reschedule.
Kansas City Skyscrapers, Missouri, 1972.
“Everything’s up to date in Kansas City
They gone about as fer as they can go
They went an’ built a skyscraper seven stories high
About as high as a buildin’ orta grow.”
The high ground
Fourth attempt at posting this, I hate using the app.
The highest point on Interstate 5, which runs from Mexico to Alaska. The Siskiyou summit is 4310’ high, just short of Ben Nevis which is 4,413′.
Carter Memorial Fountain - Ashland Oregon.
better known as “Pioneer Mike” or “Iron Mike” to locals) was built and dedicated by the City of Ashland to Henry B. and Harriet H. Carter, a couple who were very established within the community of Ashland in the late 1800s. Iron Mike depicts a pioneer cradling a flintlock rifle and shading his eye as he searches for game. It was conceived by the pioneer Breyman family of Salem and cast by the Mott Ironworks of New York. It honors 1884 immigrants Henry and Harriet Carter, who came here from Iowa and founded the Bank of Ashland.
The fountain itself doesn’t seem to be working, but the smaller, granite one has eight taps spouting ‘Lithia water’. Lithia water, called so because of natural lithium oxide deposits in the spring, has been touted as a health tonic since the 1880s.
The lithia water might have been popular in the early 20th century, but today it’s just known for tasting terrible, and according to some, like egg salad. Believe me, I tasted it and it is foul!
