Perfect Harmony and I Got The Music are both near-instant compositions of utter bops made by Julie Molinas’ brain.
Agreeing that both of these dance numbers are Julie’s fantasies, why is one of her crushes 80’s Patrick Swayze and another one Ryan from High School Musical, how on earth do those two styles compare like narratively, or even aesthetically im just like—
i cant wait for when alex and willie are actually dating and i really hope willie still calls him bro and dude
I like to think when the boys are walking on a thin sidewalk (only enough room for two people) instead of having someone have to walk behind they just get a piggyback ride (usually on Luke)
thinking bout luke from jatp
can we just all agree as a fandom that the moment when the band is singing bright and reggie & luke lean over to sing in the same microphone “life is a risk but we will take it” sounds GODLY i-
Can someone please write some nice Owen Patrick Joyner fanfic/imagines/one shot/whatever to hold me over cause oh god I can’t stop thinking about that man
owen and charlie deleting the stories and post of their hang out and us standing here crying and not knowing why
so I don’t go here but I feel like my dash did a thing ?
Everyone says their lines like they HAVE to call the boys cute whenever they bring up the band, which (a) causes so much cognitive dissonance for lesbian and nb only-attracted-to-women viewers and (b) suggests that every character in JATP is bisexual, in this essay I will-
New hc to all the people who whinge about Bobby looking like cardboard during Unsaid Emily:
- So I already have a hc that Julie’s house was where Bobby lived in 1995 and that’s where they’d practice and go to escape their parents when things were bad (you can read the full post here)
- So Luke runs away, as we all know, and he’s living in the studio at Bobby’s and Bobby is being there for him and listening to him rant and rage about how unfair his parents were being.
- Then Luke writes Unsaid Emily, and Bobby doesn’t get it. Bobby probably had a really good relationship with his parents and could never really understand the complexity of what Luke was going through, so he just thought, my friend is in pain because of his parents, therefore, his parents are bad people.
- That’s why he looks uninterested when they played, because he was. He didn’t want to play a song about Luke asking his parents to forgive him, because in Bobby’s mind, Luke had nothing to be sorry for. But he played the song anyway because he supported Luke through anything.
the greatest pain is knowing you’ll never have a connection like the sunset curve / japt boys
I dont know why had this thought but i can just imagine when the jatp whole cast gets to perform their songs live on tour and charlie sings unsaid emily and people will be waving their handkerchiefs and tissues instead of flashlights 😂😂
I dont know i have a weird mind sometimes
I need everyone to know that yes, it is three am, and YES I did have a breakdown over Julie and the Phantoms while crying to Stand Tall while in my bedroom THANK YOU VERY MUCH
