idk what twitter is doing, but it’s probably the rape thing.
For context, he was seen wearing a Joe Biden hat. He hasn’t made any statement on it, whether he doesn’t believe Tara Reade or just thinks getting Trump out of the White House is the main goal even if it means electing a different rapist (wearing that actual hat leads me to believe that the support is more personal, but who knows). I guess my own expectations of rich people/celebrities is so low that seeing them support normie politicians even after they’ve done horrible things is just not a shock to me and why I don’t really attach myself to them personally or assume that they must only have good opinions that I share. I mean, they’ve been rewarded by the system we live in; why wouldn’t they want it to continue, even at the expense of morality? I don’t know. If someone genuinely though that Oscar Isaac was some kind of exception as rich people go, I get their disappointment, but this has happened so many times now I’m just sort of thinking, “what did you expect?” I don’t mean to sound like a nihilist, but I am when it comes to rich people.
