I’ve been drawing a superhero a day since last April and if nothing else you can see my improvement.
John Wayne and first wife, Josephine Saenz, were married #OnThisDay in 1933. The union lasted until 1945.
Here's another screencap redraw, this time of Martin Pawley shielding Debbie from her uncle--John Wayne's character--in The Searchers(1956).
Summary: On holiday with your husband and son, they take a day trip together to bond leaving you in the hotel to rest. That’s the last time you see either of them. With your son missing and presumed dead, you decide to go looking for closure yourself in the one place the locals keep trying to warn you away from.

Tell me you need therapy for simping over real life serial killer's without "telling" me
Been reading a random biography on John Wayne, lots of fun random stories and quotes, but I've always loved names so I loved finding out the origin of all his names
So I knew he was born Marion and changed his name to John Wayne (if I was a dude and my name was Marion I also would change it) and I knew people in his adult life called him Duke or The Duke but I always assumed he acquired this nickname after becoming a star but I was totally wrong
So his family always called him Marion but when he was still pretty young his family moved to a community in California and he had a pet Airedale named Big Duke and this dog spent it's days at the fire house waiting for him to get out of school and the firemen all took to calling John Wayne Little Duke until eventually Duke was just his nickname.
He not only never legally changed his name from Marion to John Wayne but he didn't remotely go by John or John Wayne, he used it as his character for acting and that was all. So Duke wasn't another nickname or persona gained in his fame but a piece of who he really was and his past

Me and my mom are looking on yt music for drum songs we can learn
And we came across one called "John Waynes Teeth" and thought it was like,, a joke??
It's easy to drum along to, and it doesn't seem hard to learn,
but the horror that washes over your body when he breaks out in the chorus of "Jooooooohn Wayneees Teeeeeeeth" is uh...something

*Raven introducing Damian to Constantine*
Damian: *reaches hand out* I’m honoured to meet you sir, I am Damian Wayne, your daughters partner.
Constantine:…*looks at hand*
Constantine: *looks at Raven* All I’m hearing “‘Ello sir, I bang your daughter, let’s have a shake on that.”
Raven: *sighs* See, I knew you’d act like this so I already told him your opinion is the last of his concerns.
