I have seen some tweet on twitter from ot5s/sr stans about how ot4s or just people in general having double standards for not dropping Daesung for being “guilty by association”.
I laughed.
The association that made me drop Seungri was because he had FRIENDS, the circle around him being fucking disgusting criminals who record them having sex with unconcious/concious girls WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT.
The association Daesung had?? Damn, I didn’t even think he ever talk to his tenants trough chats and being buddy buddy with them. It barely even counts as “business relation”, Daesung is the leasor while the “illegal business owners” are the lessee. You can’t barely call it business relationship, why? Because anything related to the lessee’s business, has nothing to do with the leasor.
There’s no such thing as double standards in this. When the cases are completely different.

The silence in my bedroom disturbed but the ringing of my phone. My eyes struggling to open. My hands reaching under my pillow to find my phone. I looked my bedside to see that it was only 2 in the morning.
Who could be calling me at this ungodly hour?
Without even bothering to check the caller ID, I answered.
“What?~~”
“Seungri, where are you?”
Jiyong hyung… of course. My phone won’t ring for anyone else at 2am while my DoNotDisturb is on.
“Hyung, what’s wrong?” My voices cracky and cranky.
“Seungri, this world won’t end, right?”
I suppose this was the downside of being a genius artist. They were amazingly talented, but a downward spiral to mind-numbing topics happened too often. That and they were painfully annoying to those who wished to tolerate them… to those who chose to love them…
“Hyung, if it does then I’ll come over and have coffee with you. We can watch a beautiful ending together. And maybe, afterwards, we can write a song about it. “
A pause of silence was all I got… then a soft chuckle.
“Thank you, Seungri. I suppose an end of the world isn’t something to be scared about.”
“Go to sleep, hyung. I’ll be there when you wake up.”
Soft, slow breaths could be heard from the other line. I suppose he already fell asleep.
As sweet as that goodnight was, I really had to get ready in 30 minutes. My flight back home was at 4am.
I suppose I’m going straight to his place first.
