August 2016: Sakuragi-tayuu, of Wachigaiya okiya, performing at the Hygge, a cafe located in the Kyoto Shimabara, at the age of 19 at the second Shimabara Wachigai-ya Sakuragi Tayu event.
This event featured the history of the 10th generation head of the Wachigaiya, the viewing ceremony (kashi-no-shiki), tea ceremony ettiquette (otemae), and a dance exhibition (mai-hiro).
