someone needs to tell christine that no, she cannot eat sweets for breakfast every day
*~*that little feeling when you spent all day floating in a lazy river and you are not interested in making anything so you order food for dinner for curbside pick up because it’s literally just a few blocks away but it’s 90° and you’re too tired to walk over and then you get in your car and your garage door that worked perfectly fine 1 hour ago just doesn’t go anymore and you are stuck in your garage and you have to call like a chump and ask if they can bring the food to YOU now while you try to figure out what the fuck*~*
Curse whichever human thought cold and creamy went well together because it really does I think I've eaten a little over a pint of avocado ice cream today
In little spoonfuls. One by one

despite the amount of love he gets, i actually still feel like nakyum is a pretty underrated character. bd likely didn’t do it on purpose, but i find it interesting the way his journey mirrors that of a protagonist within a piece of gothic fiction...
being repressed and stunted in every way possible but still having that desire to be free and express yourself without really realizing it. and having sexual desires you cannot act on because society tells you that you shouldn’t. and having to go through a terrifying journey in which you’ll either come out liberated or be destroyed.
and while these themes in gothic fiction typically impact female protagonists, i still feel like they’re applicable to nakyum as a gay man who is suffering oppression (and he’s also a lowborn too which adds to that oppression). and idk being trapped within seungho’s home and by seungho feels very much like homage to the themes of being trapped within gothic literature as well (although he now considers seungho’s home his home, and is falling in love with seungho). and seungkyum’s relationship is just very gothic to me in a sense and i just love it
idk i am also speaking as someone who very much adores horror and gothic lit, but these aspects of potn and nakyum’s character really attracted me to the story.
and considering two of my favorite literary characters are eddie kaspbrak (it) and eleanor vance (the haunting of hill house) and that one of my favorite authors is angela carter, it’s not shocking to me that i love nakyum so much. there are lots of similarities in the characterizations of these literary figures.
idk nakyum is a very complex character but it’s subtle so i don’t feel like enough people recognize that. i truly commend bd

Love those interviews where Gerard meets a straight dude and is like. I'm gonna make this dude fall in love with me within the next 5 minutes. Just for funsies. *tiny giggle*. *heart eyes*. *nervous smile*. Ok now I will never see you again. <3.
thinking and i want to say that, like, i tend to answer ask prompts by working the dialogue into the response itself so it feels more organic which in turn makes it easier on me to respond, but also if that’s. like. off putting or smth just let me know because i don’t wanna come across as god mod-y especially since that’s even EASIER if i am very familiar with someone/how they play their character. so um yeah ^-^
