Happy Labor Day! Thanks to all of the hard workers, especially our Interior employees, who make our country the amazing place it is. We hope you enjoy some well-deserved relaxation. This little fox suggests a nice nap. Photo by Lisa Hupp, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

“Welcome. You must be here for the workshop, right? I’ve prepared treats and drinks, please come inside.” Amalaia smiled. The large modern home in the middle of the treeline was easily noticeable. It was just thirty minutes outside the nearest city but the scenery was completely different, isolated which had been scary at times but she had found ways to make herself feel comfortable. “So, what’s gotten you interested in pottery?” Amalaia asked as she walked into the workshop. The mostly glass room with plenty of greenery in it was quite welcoming. It was decorated with various self-made items. “Would you like some tea, coffee?” The woman asked as she walked over to the table where everything was set up beforehand by her.
*austin walker voice* who’s that Big Man?!
I’m missing my gaurdians a little extra today🌹
We built a new dog yard for Kodiak. It’s not done yet, but he’s moved in. It’s not huge but he isn’t big on wandering anyway. Like the old yard it’s connected to the house with a door. He can go in and out as he pleases when it’s his turn to be inside. He sleeps in the hallway as before.
It’s a good location, he’ll scare off anyone trying to get to our front door… I’ve been hiding treats in the yard several times a day, so he’s happy.
He’s all legs and head
