Connie finishes her homework, and of course, the teen put on a face mask to hang out in the living room with some frozen yogurts and berries. Tonight, the family had to eat dinner without Morticia, which felt weird because they always wait for one family member to come home to eat together. Imani always said that it's great for a family to sit down and enjoy a meal together because they can talk about their day, but Morticia told them to eat without her since it's already late. The siblings noticed that Imani's upset about all of this, and they didn't say a word about it because the silence was suffocating them. Forgetting about that awkward dinner, Connie smiles while eating her dessert until Vigil steps into a room, and immediately, the girl knows something's bothering him. Guess she's the only one that had a good day today, huh?
Vigil: *awkwardly * Something happened today.
Connie: *nods* Gonna need a bit more details, babe. *pats seat* Park your butt over here.
Vigil: *sits down* I think I did something to piss off Esther because she didn't talk to me all day which is weird because she was gonna show me this flower she grew for her science class.*sighs* But, Esther ended up ignoring me in our shared class and even in the hallway.
Connie: *realization* That explains why she was a bit out of it during practice today. Esther looked really lost today and when I asked if everything was okay, she didn't know what to tell me.
Vigil: *nods* I just want to know what I did wrong.
Connie: *slight smile* How about you text her or try calling her because she can't stay mad at you forever, and you need to know what's going on. By the way, I know you didn't do anything to upset her; she might be having a bad day or something.
Vigil: *nods* You're right; maybe I'm overthinking.
Connie: *giggles* I heard that's a thing in this family; I guess we're finally getting the infamous trait.
Vigil: *chuckles* I guess. Maybe I should go text her right now and see what’s bothering her.
