I love video games but have the hand-eye coordination of a sunfish and am easily overwhelmed, so Cute Husband plays the game while I provide commentary and act as a second set of eyes. So far we’ve played Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends, a tank simulator, Fall Guys, Titanfall 1 & 2, and Hades, but Apex is definitely my favorite.

I miss The Broken Ghost.....

Not a perfect story by any means but that event was godtier for fandom engagement. Every week we had SO MUCH new community art to look at and nice little bits of lore for just about all the Legends. And I don't even mean inside the gameplay event (even tho some of those REALLY added to the overall story from an atmospheric perspective like remember chapter 2 when Wattson got hurt BADLY?). Just the text-only format was more than enough to get people's ideas flowing.
