I’m so grateful that I met these four girls seven years ago who completely changed my life. I owe it all to them, they taught me to believe in myself, to understand how much I’m worth, and how I have to make my way into a male-dominated society. Leigh-Anne, Perrie, Jade and Jesy, my source of inspiration, happiness and beauty. Each with a different character, which together form a unique preciousness, their music that helped me during the most difficult moments of my life, have the courage to speak and condemn some current themes through songs, with the risk of being arrested, go beyond sexism, boycott and much more. And after 10 years still here, stronger than ever. I am so lucky to be in this Fandom, to share with half a globe the love and pleasure for the little mix. I have to thank you especially for having introduced me to people I now consider family, daily, that without I would be lost, I would not be me. Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. Here’s to ten girls🤍
On an evening stride through the corridors of the emperor's castle after being released from a long supervised stay in the healing coven
Hunter: "Sooo. What did you break today, that I will have to apologize for."
Poppy: "I actually didn't touch anything today. I accompanied Lady Kikimora on a tour with kids. She thought it would be wise if I at least knew how this world works. A crash course through history and the functionality of covens."
Hunter: "Lady Kikimora? Oh, I bet Kiki loved that"
Poppy: "Hunter, I wanted to ask something, but you need to promise that you won't get mad! It's all hypothetical and I am still trying to find some kind of logic, and I just want to know if I am on the right track."
Hunter: "Yeah, sure, shoot."
Poppy: "Didn't witches have better lifes without covens?"
Hunter: "... You should never say such things out loud."
Poppy: "I just want to understand. Isn't it bad to suppress a force that naturally grows inside? Like bottling up anger, or sadness. Won't they break beneath the... the pressure? I don't really know how that bile sack thingy works but if humen-"
Hunter: "That's what the sigils are for. They ensure that the magic is balanced. Even I have one. "
Poppy: "But I have seen Lady Kikimora do some kind of tendril-magic coming from those symbols and it left the witch totally paralysed. If the normal signs can do these terrible things, what of this sigil on your arm? Could it do the same to you?!?"
Hunter: "Poppy, that's enough theorising."
Poppy: "But what if these symbols hurt the people? If they can influence people's use of magic, if the emperor has the ability to control those, that would change the whole system."
Hunter: "Shut it. Let it rest. Can't you hear that this sounds like... revolutionary propaganda? I will keep this between us but you need get those thoughts out of your mind. Covens are good for the people! They bring order, and order means peace. Without them there would be total chaos."
Poppy: "But isn't that like a dictatorship mindset? the owl lady also lived covenless and she-"
*Hunter covers her mouth as a guard troup marches by soundly, then yonsunues in a harsh whisper*
Hunter: "She is a wanted criminal, titan's sake. And sooner or later it will bring her into the confirmatory. Do you want to end up in the dungeon instead of the human world"
Hunter: "Then you need to stop asking these kind of questions. Or I will be in that cell right next to you because I didn't manage to keep a stupid human out of trouble."
Hunter: "Sorry. I didn't mean that. You aren't stupid. *he removes his hand from her mouth* But everything you mess up, its always for me to put right because you mostly don't even know that you messed up at all and that's my fault too.“
Hunter: "I don't know how to teach you. And I am really fighting myself to just bring you to the owl lady and her pet human, because somehow she managed to give her a place in this world... But if you end up siding with her and she gets all of that "free witches" propaganda into your head - which I know she will, I can see that you're already staggering - I can no longer guarantee your savety."
Poppy: "Don't worry, I won't leave you alone here. You've shown me more kindness than I expected. Still need to repay you for that."
Hunter: "I'll go talk to Lilith. Maybe we can at least somehow get you in touch with the other human"
