if you are a fan of r&b and have NOT seen / listened to chloe x halle’s new song, get to it right now.
when i was aware of ppl talking about chloe x halle, i agreed they were talented singers and musicians, but didn’t get into their early music. i think perhaps one thing was they had such a mix of genres they did.
but now? they sound more fully into R&B, pop, sort of vibe. and i’m w/ it. this song and video are great. fully giving that nod to like early 00s R&B but got that future stuff, too.

We have two ears and one mouth, so that we can listen twice as much as we speak - Epictetus
As intuitive coach, I’m trained to listen, with my ears, my heart and my intuition. Sometimes I ask a single question. And then I listen again. This way, my coachees have all the space they need to think, feel, reflect, see, understand. They find their own solution or answer. I’m only there to guide them. Usually with a horse or two. They in particular are great listeners and know exactly what my coachees need.
By listening I give my coachees what they probably need most: attention and time to be themselves: no need to pretend, no need to show off, no need to hide. With me and my horses they can feel safe. Quite often, once the session has started, my coachees surprise themselves. Hidden feelings, denied truths, long forgotten experiences surface and refuse to be denied any longer. Finally they have the courage to face some painful memories, work through them, let go and then feel relief.
All I have to do, is be there, listen, look, support and let it happen in a safe environment. My horses help, guide, show the way.
I have always been more of a listener than a talker. My profession has refined my listening, I guess, and developed my abilities as healer and medium. I’m grateful.
I don’t usually listen to Chinese songs, but I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. Tuneful and pleasant melody, simple but lovely piano accompaniment, and melancholic lyrics. Just my kind of song.
Despite trying to expand my music library with other Chinese songs, I find myself subconsciously comparing them to this song in terms of how pleasing it is to my ears. So far, none compares.
“We need to ask, what does this illness mean to me? What can I learn from this illness? Illness can be seen as simply a message from your body to you that says, Wait a minute; something is wrong. You are not listening to your whole self; you are ignoring something very important to you. What is it? The source of the illness needs to be searched for in this way, either on the psychological or feeling level, on the level of understanding or simply by a change in one’s state of being, which may not be conscious. A return to health requires much more personal work and change than simply taking pills prescribed by a doctor. Without personal change you will eventually create another problem to lead you back to the source that caused the disease in the first place. I have found that the source is the key. To deal with the source usually requires a life change that ultimately leads to a personal life more connected to the core of one’s being. It leads us to that deeper part of ourselves that is sometimes called the high self or the spark of divinity within.”
i am definitely growing into a big fan of snow tha product. cos i’ve heard of her throughout the years and thought she was a good rapper, just didn’t really get into it. THEN i stumble upon her youtube channel everydaydays, and see how much work she puts in, what kind of family and crew she got, and all the crazy to normal stupid shit she does. now i’m all in and been looking into her music more, like this very cool R&B sort of song. like she’s been doing this for like a decade already?! she’s come so far and i really think she is overdue for that blow-up.
