I just finished reading Anne Frank: The diary of a young girl. I cant be more emotional after reading the whole book *with the afterword. I cant even explain the feeling when I reached the end of her diary like ‘oh my god, mao na to iyang last words???’. It’s not like its hanging, its just like it was so calm, that i cannot expect it would be her last.
After figuring out what happened to her family as written on the afterword, I’m plain and parang wa nakoy na bati. Im feeling empty and feeling sorry. How can people be so bad.
Peter and most of the people were right about her, her optimism towards any circumstances could bright up the surrounding. As what she told on kitty, she has a two self, i do understand. It’s normal, we do have a personality that is open to others and a different personality that only us knows that includes all sadness, doubts and fears.
Anne may not have witnessed but indeed her dreams came true. To live even after death. And she became an inspiration of the young ones. May you rest in peace, anne and all of the people who suffered.
May all the young learn from her ideals and philosophies in life.
P.S. Im wanting to learn more about history! Great that I have two well friends to talk about this right now: ms Donna and Angcay!

BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT
I am giving him too much credit. And he will never let me forget this. In every future confrontation of ours, he will bring this up. Knowing the risk, I am still narrating this small incident of my life. (Maybe I won’t show it to him)
A couple of years back my husband started his own company and I started working with him. (I am telling you not a good idea). I will give you a brief background…

How many nights have I lain here like this, feverish with plans,
with fears, with the last sentence someone spoke, still trying to
finish
a conversation already over? How many nights were wasted
in not sleeping, how many in sleep—I don’t know
how many hungers there are, how much radiance or salt, how
many times
the world breaks apart, disintegrates to nothing and starts up
again
in the course of an ordinary hour.
-Kim Addonizio from the poem The Numbers | Tell Me
