This is at Madame Tussauds wax museum in 1925. If an onlooker did not know that, they would be calling for the police. XD
Angela Bassett with her new Madame Tussaud's wax figure!
I couldn't tell who was who for a minute
Arthur and Noée have more chemistry than all of Skam France’s couples COMBINED.
Our story continues in the wilds of the not-so-distant Countryside. Lambourn, a large village in West Berkshire, lies between Swindon and Newbury, bordering Wiltshire to the west and Oxfordshire to the north. It is well known as a place one must pass through but where very few find themselves stopping; not for lack of want, but for lack of reason. It is only so well known because of its situation on the road, equally between London and Bath on a path well traveled by society as it shifts from city to town and back.
SERIES ONE, THE HUNTING SEASON EPISODE TWO: A CURIOUS CONCOURSE "Did you hear? The mysterious Viscount Lambourn has opened his house and invited a travel party to join him at Lambourn Manor!" Society has been intrigued by the unexpected arrival of Viscount Lambourn, returned home from Grand Tour with a scandalous artist in his patronage- Madame Tussaud, a French woman who sculpts from wax with such skill that one must question her methods. A demonstration has been promised, capturing the attention of the inquisitive. The promise of viewing the enigmatic Lambourne manor is equally provocative as none have seen it; and all good, prim and proper, or hopeful members of society are eager to dine with the reclusive Duke of Cluaransios, whom the Viscount has found himself in the good graces of. With the event sure to be the last of the Hunting Season and such appeal planned, who could possibly stand to miss it?
For Episode Two, we have three group threads planned!
Scene One: The Art of Peculiarity - The first thread of the day, taking place in the afternoon, as and after the party guests have arrived. Everyone gets their first look at Lambourn Manor. Madame Tussaud is introduced and available for questions and discussions. Several of her wax busts are on display.
Scene Two: The House on the Hill - The second thread of the day, following the introduction of Madame Tussaud and her lively conversation and demonstration. Viscount Lambourn has offered a tour of the eerie Lambourne Manor. If someone has been dying to get to know the Viscount or explore the house, now is the time.
Scene Three: COMING SOON! - The final thread of the day, dinner following the late arrival of Duke Cluaransios. He is sure to regale the table with tales of his adventures. Perhaps someone might even convince him to visit London this next social season? Calling cards to be exchanged following dessert.
Quick trip to Blackpool today to see these bad boys (and lovely ladies)
5 años... Figura de Cera de Selena Quintanilla en el museo de Madame Tussauds
The secret statue has been revealed at the wedding festivities celebrating the union of Lord Montagu and Lady Marcheline- it is not a statue at all!
The tapestry rippled to the ground, spilling out of the empty fountain. Red roses and basket-of-gold flowers adorned the basin of the fountain, pillaring up the column of a grand pedestal on which sat a bust so lifelike the eyes tricked one into believing them in motion. The face featured a high forehead, a large nose, thick lips, and a dimpled chin. The ruddy complexion captured the translucent nature of skin so perfectly one might not believe it to be sculpted from wax. The face, though not handsome, possessed the steady and open expression known of King George III with such shocking clarity that someone in the crowd gasped, exclaiming- “He’s not dead!” “It’s the King!” “Long live the King!” And when the gasps had settled, cheers began, and the audience rushed to get a better view. Laughing, the Duke stepped aside with the Viscount, a champagne served to each of them. Both obviously pleased with the uproarious reactions- “It blinked!” “I saw it!” “There!” “His Majesty is watching me!” “Look!” “It’s magnificent!” “Surreal!” “He’s terrifying!” The Viscount grinned around the brim of his flute, turning up the liquid and coughing slightly as the Duke slapped his shoulder. A man turned to them and insisted- “Is this witchcraft?! Who has made this? It must be real! Someone has stole the King’s head from his corpse, surely!” The Viscount chuckled- “It is the work of a French artist, Anna Maria Tussaud. If you wish to see the process done, she is joining me in Lambourn in a fortnight and will demonstrate the base of her craft for all who wish to see. Let us all hope to have the great breadth of her work in London. I intend to have her established on the upper floor of the Baker Street Bazaar within the year.”
that's it *puts you in boiling wax*

This is my very first post under the one-man-swiftie blog.
Based on my handle, you can safely assume that I am a Taylor Swift fan. A BIG one. I first knew about her back in 2008 when I saw her music video for Love Story on television, through our country's local music channel. I was 12 years old. My love for her grew as she continued to release music that we can all easily relate to. I don't know about you, but each of her songs can be the soundtrack to important events in my life. Through her music, I felt like someone understood me and my situation without really knowing me. What made me love her more is her humanity. She inspires millions of people around the world, including me, and continues to be kind despite the cruelty of this world.
Meeting her would mean the world to me, just like to other big Swifties out there. The closest encounter I ever had with her was meeting her wax figure back in 2017 at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Would you believe that a grown man would cry in a foreign country seeing a wax figure of his idol? You should.
Anyway, I decided to create this blog because I have been feeling intense emotions over the last decade of my life because of my complicated relationship with my family, broken friendships, and failed romantic relationships. Yet, I don't have a proper way of expressing them. I am hoping that through this blog, I would be able to do so. Just like my hero Taylor, I would like to be a great story teller as well, basing my narratives from significant events of my own life that I am willing to share. I would also love to connect with other Swifties here so we can exchange life stories and talk about how Taylor and her music made an impact on us. Hoping this happens soon!
For now, here is my photo with wax @taylorswift. I love you, TS! ❤
