I am going say this now, hospitals should NOT be an “aesthetic”. As somebody who has been in the hospital multiple times for mental illness and extreme physical illness, it is OFFENSIVE to see people thinking being admitted into a hospital is “cute” or “quirky”. For the most part, being in a hospital is scary and sad, and can impact somebody’s mental health deeply. I didn’t think I even had to say this, but hospitalcore and medicalcore shouldn‘t be a thing if they’re used in a bad way. :(
