Good morning! “Shame is the most powerful, master emotion. It's the fear that we're not good enough.” - Brene Brown
What is shame? The dictionary tells us it is a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior. Which can be true but, if you ask me, it is an inward-facing emotion that reflects how you feel about yourself. You don't have to have wrong or foolish behavior to feel shame. You can feel shame for things outside of your control. Thinks like abuse, or trauma that was done to you or around you. Shame can make you feel like you are not good enough for anyone or not good enough for anything. You can build yourself up through hard work and probably some therapy. It is never easy to change the way you think about the world around you but especially what you think about yourself. But it can be done. My wish for each of you today is that you can find that you are good enough. Have a fantastic day!
hey guys i have an announcement to make
im taking a break from my mental health to focus on my blogs.
please understand and respect my decision, thank you <3
Happens regularly to all of us I guess to feel we've lost control of our plans and get stuck in kind of a doldrum. So
HERE'S HOW I MANAGE THE SITUATION WHEN I FEEL #OVERWHELMED AND OFF-THE BOIL.
I hope it help you too:
1. Sleep if you feel you need it. Just relax and meditate for some minutes and try to take a nap. By doing so you make sure your mental exhaustion is not based on tiredness.
2. Eat or drink something. Anything. The tastier, the better it is. It makes you relax easier.
3. Change your position. Stand and go for a short walk if you're sitting or reporting. And stand still or have sat if you're on the move.
4. Reevaluate your goal. Section and subsection different aspects of your life and set some goals for each; from the start.
5. Write it down. Devote specific deadlines and resources to each of your goals. Now you've re-dispatched your thoughts.
6. Set a B plan. Then C, D, E, and so on. In this case, Be as pessimistic as you can. Write these plans somewhere too.
7. Find out where to start. Most of the time you need to start from the most recent goals and your tightest deadlines. See the stock in trade you're going to need.
8. Write a weekly and a daily to-do list. Even if it's half to midnight. Just write what are you going to do before you go to sleep.
9. Start ASAP. Don't give yourself time to even think about anything. Put your new plan to work.
10. Sleep well. Eat healthily. Listen to Shahram Shabpare.
Every day is a chance to change for a better you, might as well start on a Monday. Have an exceptional week!
Good morning! “The power for creating a better future is contained in the present moment: You create a good future by creating a good present.” - Eckhart Tolle
Staying mindful in this moment, doing your best to stay positive helps you to achieve that good present. If you work on being more positive it will help you to find that better future. Remember the past experiences in your life are just lessons learned but they are in the past. Stay present in the here and now. When you practice mindfulness it will help with your anxiety, I know it does for me. So my wish for each of you today is that you are able to be mindful on a good present so that you are able to create that good future. Have an amazing day!
Mental health covers our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences how we think, feel, and behave. Many people refer to mental health as "emotional health" or "well-being".⠀ The importance of mental health cannot be overstated, from childhood to adulthood.⠀ ⠀ We all face challenges throughout our lives, including challenges related to physical health, family issues, emotional stress, and even pandemics like COVID-19. When you or someone you love is struggling, it's crucial to seek help.⠀ ⠀ Here are few signs that you might benefit from counseling or treatment:⠀ ⠀ 1) You cannot cope with life generally or can't operate.⠀ 2)There are spontaneous or obvious mood swings. ⠀ 3) You appear sad, blue, hopeless, or down most of the time. ⠀ 4) You worry excessively. ⠀ 5) You cannot move past or recent traumatic events. ⠀ 6) You cannot concentrate.⠀ 7) You cease doing the stuff you enjoy. ⠀ 8) You have feelings of harming yourself or others. ⠀ 9) You tend to alcohol or drugs to cope with your emotions. ⠀ ⠀ #OrganicAyurveda #Mentalhealth #MentalWellness (at Spokane, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVMLogRs39g/?utm_medium=tumblr
“Don’t be afraid to be wrong
Learn from your mistakes”
I think my fear of failure gets in the way a lot and I just need this reminder sometimes.
Today, I organized the lessons in Google Classroom to make it more organized so the students know what we did before. It took today and yesterday to get it done. I have prepped some lessons for tomorrow as well.
I also have to read a psychology chapter since I have a mini quiz tomorrow. Honestly, I feel tired or need a break.
Other than that, I also finished Locke & Key season 2. It is pretty good and learned that season 3 has already been filmed.
Men, never enter an argument with a woman without sheets of paper and a pen.
Then on that sheet write down all your back and forth. Each time the topic changes, ex: things that happened last year or..., Then start on a different sheet the new topic and ask her if she wants to debate that new topic or not.
If what's argumented is not something actionnable (ex happened last year), then hask if it's ok to focus on actionable topics or if it's just about Iam hurting so I will hurt you!
Anyway, some little tricks from a 30+ years relationship.
Brainwashing has nothing to do with liberalism or conservatism.
It's more due to echo chambers and tribalism and the new medias /communication platforms, enable and exacerbates these behaviors...
Don't be a parrot,a puppet or sheep, get out of your echo chamber and tribe.
Good morning! “What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.” - Wayne Dyer
If you think you are worthless then you will come to actually believe it. If you think you are stupid, you will believe it. The thoughts in our own heads that we tell ourselves is not something we would say to another person, so why do we tell ourselves those things? Be gentle with your own self. Be forgiving of your self. You are human and you are not perfect. Next time you find yourself thinking negatively about you, then try and come up with a good thought about you. Something you do well, or someone you helped, or a good thought about you. You can change the way you think slowly and if you keep trying you will find it easier to find those good things that make up you. My wish for each of you today is that you can be gentle with your own self. Have a blessed day!

Good morning! “The shock of any trauma, I think changes your life. It's more acute in the beginning and after a little time you settle back to what you were. However it leaves an indelible mark on your psyche.” - Alex Lifeson
The definition of trauma is a very difficult or unpleasant experience that causes someone to have mental or emotional problems usually for a long time. I personally think you are different from what you were before. I don't think we are ever the same after the trauma. We might settle into a new normal but it won't be the same as we were before the trauma. You might be able to get close to what you were before the trauma but it will take a lot of therapy and hard work. But again you are still changed from the person you were. I guess my advice is this, hang in there, find help (a good therapist is amazing), and work hard at your mental health. You won't ever forget what happened but you will be free again. So my wish for each of you today is that you know it is possible to recover from your trauma. I hope you have an amazing day.
